"Mother! Father!"

Today was Saturday, 1st of July which is the end of term at Hogwarts for this school year.

Arlo, Draco's personal House Elf picked him up at the train station. In a pop they landed outside the huge iron gate and walked towards the huge dark manor, which they call Home.

Draco immediately went to the living room to look for his parents.

"Draco! Darling!" Narcissa stood up and warmly embraced her son in a tight hold

"Where is she? Where's Vela? Is she okay? Was she hurt?" Draco pulled away and rambled

"She's fine Draco." Lucius spoke, sitting on the dark velvet armchair

"Good. That's good." Draco sighed in relief "I'll go to her right now." Narcissa held Draco's arm before he took another step

"Maybe you should freshen up first. You had a long trip and your sister is still resting." Narcissa suggested

"I'm sure she's alright with it—" Draco was cut off by Lucius

"Not now Draco. You'll see her at supper." Lucius sternly said

Draco hesitantly nodded his head and left towards his chamber

"Poppy!" Lucius called out their house elf

Poppy, the Malfoy house elf appeared in front of them and bowed her head in respect.

"Yes master? Master called for Poppy."

"Did my daughter eat her meal for lunch?" Narcissa asked

"No mistress. Miss Vela hasn't eaten her lunch." Poppy sadly informed them

"Well, did you knock and inform her?" Lucius leaned back on the armchair

"Yes Master, but Miss Vela remained silent. I didn't want to disturb her any further, so I left it on her doorstep." Poppy informed her master's

"Very well. Go away now." Lucius waved his hand off

Poppy immediately left the couple alone.

"Lucius.." Narcissa sighed sadly

"I had enough with her stubbornness. I'm bringing her down here for supper, no matter what it may bring." Lucius snapped

"But Lucius—"

"No! I don't care if our daughter is furious at us. As long as her stomach is full then I can give her the space that she needs." Lucius then stormed out of the living room and went towards his office, probably to bury himself with paperwork's from the ministry

Narcissa sadly sighed and sat back down on the loveseat. Her mind was all jumbled up, causing her to have a headache.

It wasn't like this before, she thought. The manor was full of warmth and comfortable silence despite it being dark and eerie.

Ever since the Dark Lord came back and caused ruckus, her family is slowly drifting apart. Secrets that were kept hidden for so long are slowly revealing.

Narcissa who does everything to keep her family unharmed is slowly breaking down inside.

'I deserve this.'

"Go away!" Vela snapped in annoyance

"Vela Malfoy, open this door right now!" Vela heard her father command
