When I first got the idea of A Fallen HomeKin, I had no intentions of writing it. It was just a fun spin off of my main series to see how my main character would react to being on our world. But as I started asking more and more questions like, "what would he do? What would he think of cars or houses, or even street lights? How does the gravity change effect him? How would others react too him? Could they tell he is from another world? How would he react?" I began to realize I was not only asking questions about my main character but someone else but that I had made a story that I wanted to tell.

Thus, Fralith was born. At first I thought it was only going to be a short story about a twelve year old kid exploring our world, but as time passed, Fralith revealed that his story—a story full of adorableness, innocence, growth, bravery, laughter, tears, family, friendships, and over it all, finding his way home—would not fit in a short story, novelette, or novella, but a full sized novel. And what could I do but write it?

Welcome to A Fallen HomeKin, my first novel. I hope to finish it soon (around November?) and start editing! However, in the meantime, while I am not editing anything, I would like clear things up: in no way, shape, or form is Fralith a wolf, a werewolf, or anything like it. He is humanoid. Fralith loves to use metaphors that can get pretty abstract to describe things he feels and experiences (for example, calling pain a bird or his heart a wolf pup), but that does not mean he is not humanoid. He may growl and snarl and bare his teeth, but he is not a wolf. I am not sure how people keep getting the idea he is a wolf, and if any of you have a guess, I would love to hear it.

On the same note, if you have anything to say during the story, feel free to comment! I love to hear your thoughts, be it feedback or speculation or questions or anything constructive—it's very encouraging! Alright, enough rambling. Let us begin.
