Ollivanders

[Outside back in Diagon Alley, Holly and Hagrid are walking through the street. Holly has bought most of hed equipment, and is reading her list. She has met back up with Hagrid who seemed calmer than before.]

Holly: I still need...a wand.
Hagrid: A wand? Well, you'll want Ollivanders. [he points to the store] No place better. Run along there, but wait. I just got one more thing I got to do. Won't be long.
[Holly goes into the store, quietly. She looks around. There are shelves of wands in boxes, but no people.]

Holly: [Softly] Hello? Hello?
[Then, a nose came from the back, and a man appears on a ladder and looks at Holly. The man is Ollivander and he smiles.]

Ollivander: I wondered when I'd be seeing you, Miss. Potter. It seems only yesterday that your mother and father were in here buying their first wands. [Picks a wand] Ah. Here we are. [Holly holds it, but does nothing] Well, give it a wave. [Holly is hesitant, but waves, she could already tell that this wasn't her wand. It didn't feel right to her.. This causes most of the boxes to come flying out and crashing down. Holly jumps and hurriedly puts the wand back on the counter. ] Apparently not. [Gets another wand from a box.] Perhaps this. [Holly waves at a vase, which shatters, startling Holly.] No, no, definitely not! No matter... [gets a wand from a box, but stops and becomes thoughtful] I wonder. [Ollivander hands the wand to Holly. No sooner after she touched it, Holly suddenly glows under it, blowing her hair up and several of the paperwork in the background. Ollivander looked a bit surprised and deep in thought.] Curious, very curious.

"What's curious? Remus asks.

Holly sighs. The Wizarding world was about to be in for a big shock.

Holly: Sorry, but what's curious?

Ollivander: [examining the wand he gave to Holly] I remember every wand I've ever sold, Miss. Potter. It just so happens that the phoenix, whose tail feather resides in your wand gave one other feather, just one. It is curious that you should be destined for this wand when its brother gave you that scar. [Points to the lighting bolt scar on Holly's forehead]

"You share a wand core with the Dark Lord?" Walburga asked her granddaughter curiously. Sirius and Regulas are both shocked with how gentle she sounded to Sirius' daughter.

He though she'd be disgusting that he had sired a half-blood. "Yes, I did." Holly said. Not many people caught the past tense of her sentence but those who did *cough Amelia Bones and Alastor Mad-eye Moody cough* wondered what she meant by that.

Holly: And...who owned that wand?
Ollivander: Oh, we do not speak his name. The wand chooses the wizard, Miss. Potter. It's not always clear why, but I think it is clear that we can expect great things from you. After all, He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named did great things...terrible, yes, but great. [he hands Holly back her wand.]
[Holly then hears a knock on the window.]

"Did he just praise the dark lord?" Rebastian Lestrange asked curiously. "No you idiot. He praised his magic." Rodolphus Lestrange told his brother.

Hagrid: Holly! Holly! Happy birthday! [Has a snowy owl in a cage, which hoots, her name is Hedwig.]
Holly: [amazed] Wow.

"Thank you Hagrid!" James, Lily, and Sirius say. The half giant waves them off but he was secretly happy that he had been able to get young Holly a good gift.

The Girl Who Lived

[Later back in the Leaky Cauldron, Hagrid and Holly, are at a long table, eating soup. Everything is too quiet, Hagrid soon notices this.]
