Jacob and others couldn't believe their eyes. There was Ashla, Jacob's mother, standing in front of everyone when she was believed to be dead.

"H-how?" Jacob choked "How are you alive? You can't be real!"

"Sweetheart I know it's hard to believe but it really is me" Ashla said.

"She's telling you the truth Jacob" Remus said "She revealed to me that she was the bear in the Dark Forest. She even willingly took a truth telling potion in front of me to confirm it was her"

"Yeah, yeah happy reunion" Sirius said "Now let's kill him!"

"Sirius, I understand you've waited a long time for this but please wait a few more minutes. Harry and Jacob have the right to know why" Ashla said.

"I know why!" Harry said as Ashla and Remus looked at him. "You betrayed my parents! You're the reason they're dead!"

"No Harry it wasn't him." Remus said "Someone did betrayed your parents, but it was someone who until quite recently, I believed to be dead!"

"Who was it then?" Jacob asked.

"Peter Pettigrew" Ashla said with an angry tone. "That bastard ratted out me and Michael as well"

"So you know......." Jacob said "About my heritage?"

"That you're Merlin's last descendant......" Ashla said "Yes, Dumbledore told Michael about his heritage during our sixth year at Hogwarts. He then told me, Remus, Sirius, James Lily and of course Peter....."

"Then why didn't you tell Uncle Jason and Aunt Jenny?" Jacob asked.

"Because your Aunt Jenny has a reputation for being a blabber mouth" Ashla said "We knew Jason would tell her and she would've told the entire school. So we couldn't risk it."

"And as for Pettigrew, he's in this room! Right now!" Sirius said "Come out, come out, Peter! Come out, come out and play!"

"Expelliarmus!"

Everyone turned and saw Snape disarm Sirius as he pointed his wand toward the excused criminal.

"Ah, vengeance is sweet" He said "How I hoped I'd be the one to catch you.

"Severus it's....." Lupin said before Snape point his wand at him.

"I told Dumbledore you were helping an old friend into the castle, and now here's the proof" Snape said as Ashla started clapping slowly.

"Well done Serverus" Ashla said sarcastically as Snape's eyes widen as he saw her. "Once again you allowed your stupidity and arrogance to get the best of you"

"You're......alive?" Snape said.

"Yes, she alive Snape" Sirius said "Now if you don't mind, Remus and I have some unfinished business to attend to."

Just then Snape harshly poked his wand into the side of Sirius's neck.

"Give me a reason. I beg you" Snape sneered.

"Serverus, don't be a fool" Remus said

"He can't help it" Sirius said. "It's a habit"

"Sirius be quiet!" Remus said.

"Oh quiet yourself Remus!" Sirius said.

"Oh, listen to you two" Snape said "Quarreling like an old married couple."

"Why don't you run along and play with your chemistry set?" Sirius said

"I could do it you know" Snape sneered. "But why deny the Dementors? They're so longing to see you. Do I detect a flicker of fear? Oh, yes the Dementor's kiss. One can only imagine what that must be like to endure. It said to be nearly unbearable to witness, but I'll do my best."
