Monica woke up early the next morning, she wasn't sure if it was the noise the rest of the guys were making or Eddie's snoring. She sat up, gently shaking Eddie awake. As soon as they made eye contact, she felt herself blushing just at the thought of last night.

The pair made their way back to the living room, everyone was awake. They all sat and listened as Nancy told them what Vecna had shown her in her vision last night.

"Okay, but uh, he's just trying to scare you Nance," Steve told her. "I mean, it's not real."
"Not yet." She replied.

"Wait, the clock chimes four times, every time," Max started. "He's been telling us his plan the whole time."

"Four kills. Four gates. End of the world." Lucas looked over to Max with a worried look in his face. Eddie held his face in his hands while Monica gently rested her head against his shoulder.

"We have to go back in there, back to the Upside Down." Nancy stated, earning a chorus of 'no's' from the rest of the group.
"Are you crazy? He'll kill us." Steve told her
"Only because we weren't prepared. We need weapons this time."

They all bickered between themselves, throwing theories around. They were comparing Vecna to their friend Eleven, talking about him being in a trance. Monica looked at Eddie who had the same confused look on his face as she did.

"That all sounds good in theory," Robin replied to Dustin who was talking about killing Vecna while he was in one of his trances. "But there are no patterns to his killings, we don't know when he's going to attack next. We don't even know who he's going to attack next."
"Yes, we do," Max spoke and everyone turned to look at her. "I can still feel him. I'm still cursed."

"Max, no. He'll kill you!" Lucas told her.
"I survived before, I can survive again. We just need a plan."

All of them gathered around in Eddie's trailer trying to come up with a half decent plan. It was decided they had to go back into the Upside Down to kill Vecna.
"Okay, but we'll need weapons. Where are we supposed to get those from?" Monica said, folding her arms. Eddie disappeared into his bedroom and returned seconds later with a sheet of paper in his hands.
"Check this out," he lay it out on the table in front of him. "The War Zone. I've been there once. It's huge. They have everything you need for uh, killing things."

Everyone studied the paper in front of them. "It's just outside of Hawkins. As long as we stay clear of mains roads we can avoid cops and angry hicks."
"If we're trying to avoid angry hicks maybe we shouldn't go to some store named The War Zone." Erica sassed.
"Normally I'd agree, but we need the weapons so it's worth the risk." Nancy nodded her head in agreement.

"But is it worth the time? It'll take all day to bike there and back." Dustin argued.
Monica sighed. "Bikes? Really? Do we have to bike everywhere!"
"Who said anything about bikes?" Eddie spoke.

"What, you got some kind of car we don't know about?" Steve questioned.
"It's not exactly a car, Steve. And uh, it's not exactly mine but it'll do," Eddie turned to face Max. "Hey Red, you got a ski mask or a bandana. Something like that?"

She left for a minute and came back with a halloween mask in her hand.
Eddie shrugged. "Better than nothing I suppose."

Monica couldn't help but laugh at Eddie with the Michael Myers mask on.
"It's not funny." He side-eyed her. They left Eddie's trailer and Eddie led them across the trailer park to another trailer. He slid open the window and jumped through, ushering everyone else in.

Steve and Monica followed him to the front of the trailer.
"Where'd you learn how to do this?" Steve asked, watching as Eddie messed about with the wires.
"Well, when the other dads were teaching their kids how to fish or play ball," he started. "My old man, was reaching me how to hot-wire."

He didn't take his eyes off the wires for a second. "Now, I swore to myself I wouldn't wind up like he did. But now I'm wanted for murder, and soon, grand theft auto."

Eddie looked at the two of them with a grin. "I'm really living up to that Munson name."

Robin quickly rushed over, leaning on Steve as she spoke. "Eddie, I'm not sure I love the idea of you driving."
"Oh, I'm just starting this sucker. Harrington's got her, don't you big boy." Eddie leant in with a big smile spread across his face.

Eddie connected the wires and the engine started with a loud roar. There was banging on the door, the four of them looking over to see the owner demanding for them to open the door. Steve pushed Eddie out of the way and took the drivers seat.
"Everybody hang on to something!" He shouted behind him.

"Drive, Steve. Drive!" Dustin yelled while everyone fumbled around the trailer. Monica threw herself on the seat inbetween Max and Dustin as Steve hit the gas pedal, the tyres screeching below them.

Steve managed to get them out of the trailer park in once piece, just about, and so they made their way to The War Zone.
