Fear flooded through my body. Once my father found us he would surely kill us. I had very little trust for my father but I trusted him with my life. He wouldn't kill me right? If I threw my body infront of robins then he wouldn't be able to murder him

Robin- you should go before he finds you

Y/n- no, I have a plan

My shaky voice didn't really convince robin

Robin- you sure it will work

Y/n- I'm betting my life on it working

Robin- you trust him too much

Y/n- he's my dad

Robin- fair point

I heard him enter the house. Calling out my name, worry lacing his calls after a while.

I could hear his feet stomping into the kitchen. The sudden freeze told me he had found the basement door open

Her heart racing, robin swore he could see her chest rise and fall with the beat. She gently pushed him behind her, her hand holding his.

He wasn't quite sure as to why she would risk her life to save him against her father

No one could save us. Max was gone. I believed we didn't need max. We were getting out

Albert- y/n?! You down there?

I didn't answer. Squeezing my eyes shut hoping he'd show me mercy

Albert- whatever you think you know, you don't!

I knew fucking everything. He was the grabber.

I heard the basement door slam and lock followed by him exiting the house and driving to an unknown destination

Y/n- what did he do to you?

Robin- you don't want to know

Y/n- I should've known. All the signs were there! All the fucking signs were handed to me!

She broke down in tears. This was a sign of their end. They were locked down here, no way out

Robin- it's not you fault

Y/n- I can't help but think it is

Robin- I wish I knew you

Y/n- you don't mean that

Robin- I do, you could've helped me with my grades

I smiled softly

Suddenly the sentimental moment was cut off by my father returning. I could tell he was angry just by his foot steps.

The door unlocked, his feet cascading down the steps followed by the sound of scraping metal

He stood before me, axe in hand, mask on

Y/n- dad you don't have to do this

Albert- yes I fucking do!

Before I could talk him out of it, the contact of the cold metal with my skin emptied my mind.

Blood spilling from my body. At least it was a quick death

Robin stood in shock. He had just butchered his daughter, what would he do to him

Robin- you just killed your daughter

Albert- oh please, she was collateral damage

Robin knew he had to get out, for him, for her.

As the grabber went to swing, robin grabbed the axe and swung it at the back of his leg, causing him to fall

He waisted no time in rushing up those steps and getting the fuck out of that house.

He left her dead and the grabber soon dead too as he would bleed out in less than 20 minutes

Weeks went by, robin was questioned by multiple reporters. His answer always stayed the same. Always to heart

I would've never gotten out if it wasn't for her. She put her life on us getting out. I owe my life to her. She went against her father to save me. She didn't even know me. She had a good heart for the wrong person.
