Ranboo was wide awake, despite it being three in the morning. Ghost was driving him mad without even realising. They seemed so familiar, he just couldn't figure it out. He went down a rabbit hole of memories, eventually finding his old phone to go through photos. This led to him scrolling through old texts, bittersweet memories flashing through his head.

Neither of them had texted since then and soon after this, Taylor had moved away. Noah had no idea where he'd moved to and while he had had crushes since then, he'd never forgotten his first love.

He'd met Taylor at a vallleyball match. It had been the finals and, of course, Ranboo had flirted with the other team to distract them. What he hadn't expected was for a smaller ginger boy to pull an uno reverse card and flirt back.

After the match he'd caught up with the brunette and the two joked about the match, quickly becoming close friends. They texted constantly and hung out for weeks. Until that night. When Ranboo had finally let his true feelings show.

And then Taylor left without a word.

The next time Noah played against Taylor's old school he managed to ask where the boy had moved to. But he'd told no one. All anyone knew was that he'd left the country with his dads.

Ranboo held back tears at the memories, wishing now, more than ever that he at least knew where Taylor was. If he was ok. If he'd found someone else.

He shook his head to clear the thoughts instead focusing on Ghost.

But he kept comparing the two. They were eerily similar yet nothing alike. Pulling up a photo of each boy he groaned, throwing both phones across the room. He grabbed a pillow and sobbed into it, once again grieving his friend's disappearance.
