Tris' POV
I finish straightening my long blonde hair, I glance at my clock and it says 5:55. Tobias is going to be here any moment. I am wearing a plain navy blue dress that stops at my knees and I wore black flats to match. I spray myself with my favourite Beckham perfume and that's when the doorbell rings.
"Honey, Tobias is here" my mum yells.
"Coming" I say as I make my way towards the staircase.
I'm walking down and I see a really handsome Tobias at the bottom of the stairs wearing a white shirt and dress trousers.
"You look breathtaking" he says. I blush and smile. I quickly give my mum a hug and we walk towards Tobias' car.
We sit in silence as Tobias drives us, he pulls up outside Dauntless Restaurant. The most romantic restaurant in Chicago.
We order our food and start chatting.
"So, tell me about yourself Tris" he says
"Well, I lived here all my life, I became popular at college when I made the cheer team, I have always been so horrible until you came along. I don't know but something about you makes me feel like I could be a better person and that there is a future and that I should focus on my studies". I start talking but I feel like I'm babbling.
"I'm glad I make you feel that way" he says. His eyes are so beautiful I can't even focus.
"Thanks" he says, crap I must have thought out loud.
"Right, I'm gonna be honest with you, I know I've only known you for a few days but I feel like you've got me wrapped up around your finger, I really really do like you" I say blushing.
"Wow, um, I have no words, I really like you too" he says.
The rest of the date we talk about ourselves, getting to know each other.
"I had a great time, thank you" I say as we stand outside my door.
"I did too" he says and I lean up to kiss him. I pull away first "Good night" I say as I walk in to my house.
I sigh and start grinning like an idiot. I do that a lot lately. My thoughts are interrupted by my dad.
"You really like him don't you?" He asks.
"I do daddy, I really do". I reply
"Well just so you know, Mum, Caleb and I approve" he says. I am so happy right now, I run up to him and give him a hug.
"Thanks dad" I say.
I walk upstairs and get ready for bed. I lay in bed and soon I am dreaming of Tobias and I.
