Y/n's first Monday unfurled, shrouded in uncertainty and tinged with apprehension. The day commenced with a late morning class in Divinations, followed by an afternoon dedicated to the enthralling annals of magical history. Together, Y/n and Aura embarked on a journey towards the North Tower, accessible through a circular trap door. As their eyes scanned their schedules, Aura's lips curved into a knowing smile. "Seems we'll be sharing most of our classes," she remarked, her voice imbued with a hint of hidden meaning. Clearing her throat gently, she added, "I happened to overhear your conversation with Malfoy yesterday. Well, 'conversation' might be an understatement."

Y/n shrugged, "He just gives everyone a hard time. I would just love to shut him up." She mimicked punching Malfoy.

Aura shook her head and warned, "Please do everyone the favour, and when you do, be careful." Aura continued, " Alright, I have some catching up to do with Jack, but I'll see you around."

Y/n took a seat with Ron and Harry as Professor Trelawney began, "Welcome, my children. In this room, you shall explore the noble art of divination. In this room, you shall discover if you possess the sight." She paused as she stumbled into a table, and then introduced herself. "I am Professor Trelawney. Together, we shall cast ourselves into the future! This term, we will be focusing on Tasseomancy, which is the art of reading tea leaves."

Y/n and Ron shared a few sceptical looks.

Professor Trelawney instructed the students to take the cup of the person sitting across from them. She exclaimed, "The truth lies buried beneath a book waiting to be read, but first, you must broaden your minds, first you must look beyond!" Y/n and her classmates tried to hide their smiles, except she couldn't help but find the professor a little intriguing.

"What a load of rubbish!" Hermione groaned.

Y/n and Ron were startled by her sudden appearance, "Where did you come from? Where'd she come from?" Ron whispered.

Hermione looked annoyed, "Me? I've been here all this time." Y/n knew that Hermione was lying. There was no way, she hadn't noticed her.

Professor Trelawney jumped towards Ron who froze, "Your aura is pulsing, dear. Are you in the beyond? I think you are."

Ron nodded wide-eyed, "Sure." Harry and Y/n covered their mouths, trying not to laugh. Ron examined the tea leaves in his cup and said, "Harry's got sort of a wonky cross, that's trials and suffering and - a that there could be the sun - that's happiness. So uh - you're gonna suffer but you're gonna be happy about it." He looked confused.

"Give me the cup" Professor Trelawney glanced at Harry's cup and their smiles turned to shock, especially Harry's. She stuttered, "My dear, you have the grim."

"What's the grim?" Sean asked aloud.

"The grim, taking the giant form of a giant spectral dog, it's among the darkest omens of our world, it's an omen of death" A Gryffindor boy read from the textbook.

The tension was heavy and everyone sat in silence for a few moments before Trewlaney turned to Y/n who mirrored Ron's expression earlier. She wasn't sure what to expect, all she wanted was a quiet and peaceful year at Hogwarts. To enjoy herself with her friends.

"Oh, well let's see here. An Angel, the bearer of good news, especially in love." Y/n blinked at her blankly. "My dear, but beware the bridge is not clear, a journey with an unfortunate ending comes. Perhaps, someone you know?" Trelawney said most casually, "But what is unfortunate? Many bad things can be good things".

"What the f-" Harry began and Hermione cut him off, telling him that there was nothing to waste his time thinking about, it was ridiculous.
