CHAPTER 5;
A godly interaction

All of their eyes snapped around to look at what had been slammed. And doing so they also stopped in their tracks.

The once slithering they once couldn't hear they could for sure now hear as it circled around them. The four men pulled their weapons out, not asking questions while doing so as a precaution while paimon looked like she was about to pass out as she freaked the fuck out. And instead she quickly flew off with a cry disappearing into the coldness.

Aethers eyes widened. "PAIMON!" He called out for her as he watched her leave but before he could catch her his eyes snapped back to the slithering.

A large black snake stared at them, the height and width of the creature couldn't be compared but it was for sure almost double the size of all four of them combined. It was massive.

And what made it even worse, was that you could see an arm hanging out of the snake's mouth as a deafening crunch of the bones was heard as it swallowed whatever human it had left over. And soon it titled it's head. The snake was completely covered with tough, shiny scales. The scales were pentagonal, it almost was shaped like a teardrop.
Which looked extremely durable looking and it didn't seem you could actually get a proper hit in.

They all stood in their places, maybe it was due to fear or pure hope that the man eating snake would just get bored of their staring and leave. But their unwavering eyes seemed to anger the snake more and more the longer they watched it seemed to get even angerier.

And as it started to rage, as if it had realised they were intruding it slammed its mouth wide open. Letting out a loud hiss, the split tongue being seen along with the razor sharp fangs the snake had as it quickly grovelled towards them ready to pounce at them

The four men's blades glinted in the light from the bare visions overhead they all had. The light barley emitting enough for them to be be able to punch nor fight against the snake of this huge calibar and as they got ready for the snake to snap and collide against them to take a bite out of them.

That was until a deafening noise was heard. A quiet hissing sound, something similar to a dog whistle but jacked up to a hindered.

And that caused the snake stopped in its place. No longer squirming towards them and instead at another location. Kaeya took this as an opportunity to try and strike the snake but it skillfully dodged in a way that wasn't normal and instead smacked kaeya into the nearby wall with its thick tail. The blow across his chest, hurled him a few yards through the dungeon. Not even giving the cavalry captain even a second glance causing kaeya to let out a slight shriek of agony as dilucs eyes widened. Calling out for his brother worriedly.

"KAEYA!" He yelled as he rushed over to him. Aether and albedo still had their swords out aiming at the snake, but both were worried for the Calvary Captain.

The snake huffed at the interaction before it turned its head and seemed to over peered, looking on top of the stairs that seemed to go up for at least hundreds of steps up. . . Only to see a man staring down upon them with a nearly passed out paimon as she cried in his arms terrified. Her heart was beating loud in her chest as she rested her  head on his chest and when she tried to listen in for his heart beat she couldn't hear anything like the sort.
