In his lay, the Piplup stared up at the ceiling. A defeated feeling filled him since he awoke. He didn't change expressions or budge to look at the Dewott who talked to him. "Once this is all over, the two of you will be dismissed," she said. Nothing. The Pokemon left the room as Palo continued.
Still unflinched, he heard more padding towards the room. It was Nickel and Buddy. "Don't sweat it," the Nickit reassured, reaching into his saddlebag to put down an oran berry. "We're gonna find Lily for you. Just stay and recover." Nickel dashed out as soon as possible. However, Buddy stayed, a thumbs up from his mouth before rushing off to his partner.
Now the room was just Palo again. In the same position on his nest, the Piplup's eyes were wide.
This was bad.
Painfully, Palo got up slowly. He kept the same pace as he exited the place. With how busy the guild was because of this, it was easy for the Piplup to leave. With handicapped waddles, eventually he was outside the dome, ready to save his partner. Step. Yet, little did Palo know that someone had followed him.

Somewhere in a cave, was an unconscious Eevee. "Now what may you be doing here..."
