Chapter 15: New mission

It was quite early in the morning, about the time the sun comes up. Sage was still sleeping soundly. Viper was going to the cafeteria to get a cup of coffee when she spotted Cypher on the roof of the adjacent wing. Cypher was sitting on the edge and looking at the sunrise.

The sun was beginning to rise from behind the trees on the edge of the forest, and it seemed beautiful through its dewy foliage. He waves at Viper without looking in her direction. Viper wasn't startled; this wasn't the first time something like this had happened. Everybody knows "Cypher has eyes in every direction; he is always looking at you."

Cypher keeps looking at the sunrise as Viper walks away. He was specifically hearing a report from one of his men. "They can't let us rest," he sighs as he stands up. The report dealt with the unexpected movement in 'Kingdom'. He went down to tell the big guy about it.

It was early in the morning. The sun was up and birds were chirping. The clock struck seven and the alarm went off. Sage woke up and turned the alarm off. She got up from the bed, still drowsy, and went to the bathroom to freshen herself.

In the middle of her bath, she suddenly remembered: "Sabine!!... shit I forgot about her". She hurried and got out, got dressed and called Viper.

*ring* *ring* *ring* *clack*

Viper :- Hi, you woke up?

Sage :- I'm sorry Sabine, I really am... i slept in the middle of the movie even though I was the one who suggested it. I ruined our time. We rarely get chances like this.

Viper:- Calm down babe, it's alright. I enjoyed myself yesterday.

Sage:- but still, you know, I feel bad... also why didn't you wake me when you got up?

Viper:- I thought i should let you rest, you looked tired.

Sage:- hmmm......

Viper:- Umm.. So what are you doing?

Sage:- Nothing, just gonna go get myself breakfast.

Viper:- Oh great, i'll come too. Let's eat together.

Sage:- You haven't eaten yet? Didn't you woke up before me

Viper:- No i just got a coffee...

Sage:- Why?

Viper:- uh.... i was busy with my new experiment.. you know... um... the new toxin i was talking about.

Sage:- .... 🙄🤨.... don't tell me you were waiting for me? to eat together.

Viper:-...

Sage:- Awww yo- *line disconnect*

"She can be so cute..." Sage remarked with a chuckle and left for the cafeteria.

Sage and Viper, after finishing the food, were sitting together with Raze and KJ. Kj was complaining again about Raze adding explosives to her devices.

"So what are your plans for today, Sage?" German asked. "Nothing important is on the schedule. I guess i'll be just sitting doing nothing in my cabin for the afternoon. In the evening, though, Neon and Jett have invited me to a light spar", Sage replied.

"Oh, you're going to fight? Mind if I join? We have a score to settle from the last match. This time i'll win. " Raze retorted, suddenly standing.

"Haha sure. I'll call you when we're going to spar. We'll see who's going to win. "

"I'm going to bet my money on Sage," Kj announced, looking at Raze with a teasing look.

"Haa! You're supposed to be on my side." Raze said with a frown while others were laughing."

The gates of the cafeteria were then slammed open, revealing a buff man. It was Brimstone. He looked around the room and finally set his eyes on the healer and said, " Sage! Come with me We have got an urgent situation."

So yeah I'm finally back, with this chap I'll try to be back with regular upload, that is new chapter every 5 days. I'm currently working on new projects and as for this story i don't really know where to go with this story, i mean yeah i have at least have some vague idea to get to the fluff chapter, you can look forward to it ;-) as for how this gonna end? how many chap does it gonna have i don't know to be honest.

I have some others ideas for SagexViper for example Sage harem, Sad Sage(set in a world where nobody likes Sage, she is depressed) and others. So i wanted to ask you what do you want either they all get different stories or they become a part of this, i think for this Sage will be going in different universes or idk i will think of something... so i just wanna ask what would you guys like? Please do comment!
