Chapter 21

Nagmamadali akong bumaba ng hagdan. I woke up late and my baby might be hungry right now. I can hear her giggles coming from the kitchen kaya dumiretso ako doon.

“Mom!” she screamed in glee when she saw me. She was eating with Zeus.

“Good morning, baby! Good morning, Zeus!” I greeted them as I came near them.

I handed my hand in front of Zeus. He rolled his eyes and kiss it. I smiled and kissed his cheeks after. Lumapit ako kay Elaine pagkatapos at hilakan siya sa noo.

“Elaine, why didn't you wake me up? Nagutom ka ba?” I asked her.

“You're snoring and I don't want to disturb it, Mom,” I pinch her cheeks when she said it.

Mana talaga sa pinagmanahan. Narinig ko ang tawa ni Zeus kaya inirapan ko siya.

“Kumain ka na, diyosa. Pinapasundo kayo ni Mama at Papa,” Zeus said kaya sumabay na ako sa kanilang kumain.

Hera Elaine is my daughter.

I was so nervous when I found out that I was pregnant 6 years ago and happy at the same time. My family supported me during those days. Without them, I don't know how can I make it. And now, she's 5 years old. She grow up smart and of course, spoiled by my family. But I always tell her to always respect people and always be kind.

We're going to Sweet Paradise. Sweet Paradise is our Clan's treasure. We have many Flower shops located here in the Visayas. Pero ang totoo at naging unang Sweet Paradise ay nasa La Esperenza. Although we have a garden consisting of Vegetables and fruits pero mas malaki ang Sweet Paradise.

May malaking lupain kami na tinaniman ng iba't ibang klase ng bulaklak. Minana ito nila Papa may kay Lolo Leandro. The Sweet Paradise is now in Papa and Tita Sandy's care. Although tatlo sila, pero si Tito John ay naninirahan na ngayon kasama ang kanyang pamilya sa ibang bansa.

As of now, tumutulong ako sa pamamahala sa Sweet Paradise kahit ayaw nila Papa. Nahihiya na rin kasi ako kasi ang tanda ko na pero wala akong trabaho. I was the one who's managing the flower shop next to La Esperanza, in Magtaod.

Nang makarating kami sa Sweet Paradise, kami nalang pala ang wala. Tomorrow is my cousin's wedding. Saraya's wedding and she choose a flower theme. Saraya was the one who accepted the arrange marriage years ago, but it was canceled. Ngayon palang sila ikakasal, ewan ko kung ano ang nangyari. All I know is they will get married because they love each other, not because of the arranged thingy anymore. Sana lahat.

Mama kissed my cheeks when she saw me and get Elaine and bring her to Tita's Family. Pinabayaan ko na sila at lumapit ako sa mga kuya ko.

I handed them my hand, and just like Zeus, they rolled their eyes but still kiss my hand. I kissed them both on the cheeks.

“Ang pangit mo,” Kuya Cupid teased and I glare at him and he only laughs.

Lumapit ako kay Papa pagkatapos. He was busy checking on the flowers that will be used tomorrow. I hugged him and he chuckled and kissed my cheeks.

We're gathered for a family lunch, to congratulate Saraya.

MY DAUGHTER walk in the aisle, she's one of the flower girls. She's holding a basket full of flowers. She scattered it on the floor as she keep on walking. Ngumiti ako, ang ganda niya sa suot na gown at may crown flower pa siya sa ulo. Ngumiti siya nang nadaanan niya ako and I capture it using my phone.

The wedding continues and it's now saying their vow. Suminghot ako habang nakikinig, siniko ako ni Kuya Hades kaya nilingon ko siya.

“Inggit ka?” he teased and I nodded. Tumawa siya ng mahina, tinanong pa niya ako eh parehas kaming single.

Ewan ko ba, sa mga kapatid ko, siya lang ang single or my nobya siya pero hindi lang nagsasabi. Kuya Hades is a secretive type of a person, I'll just wait that he'll open up to us.

“Reto kita?” he asked and I know that he's just kidding.

I nodded and said,“ Gusto ko ng CEO, Kuya. 'Yung Sancho Etienne sana ang pangalan.”

Ngumiwi siya. “'Wag 'yon, pangit 'yon, eh.”

“Eh, gusto ko siya.”

“Stay single nalang, Diyosa. Samahan kita maging single forever,” he said and we both laughed.

“Tinatawa-tawa niyo d'yan?” Kuya Cupid asked nasa unahan kasi sila ni Zeus.

“Wala, ang pangit mo kasi,” Kuya Hades teased Kuya Cupid.

Kuya Cupid glared at us and we laughed, pati si Zeus na katabi ni Kuya Cupid ay tumatawa na rin. Kuya Cupid crossed his arms and he acts like his sulking. We got quiet when Mama glared at us.

The reception was held in Saraya's place. Kaunti lang rin naman kasi ang bisita. Pamilya at malapit lang na kaibigan ang imbitado sa kasal.

I congratulated Saraya and her partner. They looked happy and so in love with each other. I'm happy for Saraya, she found her other half. Although, she deserves it.

Lumapit ako kila mama baka kasi nakita nila si Elaine pero sabi nila hindi. Ang likot talaga ng batang 'yon! Nilapitan ko Zeus at tinanong rin pero hindi niya rin alam kaya tinulungan niya akong hanapin si Elaine.

Pumasok ako sa mansion nila Saraya baka kas 'andoon. Nasa backyard kasi ang handaan. I heard her voice in the living room kaya lumapit ako doon. He was talking with someone.

“Elaine!” I called and she looked at me..

“Mommy!” she ran towards me and hug my legs.

“Hanap ako ng hanap ako sa'yo at nandito ka lang pala,” I uttered.

“I was talking with him po, Mom,” bulong niya at tinuro ang kausap kanina. My eyes widen, for six years I saw him again, and I saw Sancho Etienne again.
