Connections

Peter's POV

Flash dropped me off at my apartment. I waved bye as I walk in through the building "May?" I said as to not wake any neighbors, I knocked again at the door before someone opened it

"Dad??" I looked down confused as Tommy gasps lightly after rubbing his eye vigorously

"No It's the other one... Wait Where's May? And your Dad?"  Disappointment spreads across Tommy's face as I walk into the apartment, Tommy goes to  Aunt May's room as I notice Aunt May is laying down on the couch, It looks like she gave her room to the boys

I kindly tap May as she slowly wakes up and sat up "Peter?? Where's Wanda?" She was groggy and is still adjusting her eyes, I turn off the lights and used a lampshade instead

"May it's me.. I just got home Where's the other me?" I said to her as I sit down after I brought her a glass of water

"They're still not home? Oh well.. I guess they're still at the Avengers." May takes a sip as she sighs heavily "But what about the boys? Why are you even sleeping here when you could've slept with them or at my room?" I said

"I was doing some Paperwork and I don't want to disturb their sleep, Also I don't like how messy your room is." May said a bit disgusted as I scoff

May's phone then lit up as she picks up the notification, She sighs as she puts it down "What is it?" I said as she sighs and adjusts her blanket

"It was the other you, He said they'll be sleeping at a motel instead of driving back here since it's already late." She said as I nod my head

"Go fix yourself and go to sleep. Not to mention you arrived late." She said as she lays back down in the couch, I get up and got to my room and flopped myself on the bed

I pull out my Phone and charged it before I fully go to sleep. I tuck my body in the blanket as I look up in the windows just exactly where the moon is

Thoughts filled my head like a balloon being blown by a leaf blower. This heavy feeling on my chest it almost seems like I need to get off my ass and do something but I just don't know really

For a brief second again, My Sense tingled and It was louder, Still I don't know where it is coming from. I sighed as I grab a picture of Wanda I took underneath my bed frame when Thanos and his army came at Wakanda  back in 2018

Just looking at it eases me

I put it back under the bed as I close my eyes and fell asleep quick

Dream State

I heard a knock on my door while I was studying. It might be Wanda but her knock rhythm is very much different

"Who is it?" I said as I walk up to my door and opened it revealing my landlord "Peter your rent is due." He looks over my shoulder as I think about an excuse which could get me of this situation quick

"Studying huh? If you really had your student ID I could give you a discount and maybe you could pay now." He sighs and looked disappointed with a bit of pity in his eyes

I got into an awkward stance as I tried to explain myself when I saw someone's hand wiggle on my Landlord's head

He leaves without saying a word and I stood there confused. Soon Wanda in a beanie came with a bag, She used her powers to trick my landlord about my rent

"Hey Peter what's up? Have you ate? I bought us some snacks." Wanda walked in as I breathe a huge relief

"Wanda we talked about this, No more controlling Anyone and No I haven't eaten. Thanks." I scoffed as Wanda sat on my bed and I continue on my study
