At 8 am several guards and Erik left in a truck to get back Klaue. I took my place once more behind the monitors as I got to work, hacking into the cameras which lined the inner and outer walls of the CIA facility. In less than 20 minutes I saw the truck circle around the building.

I made sure that the back alley cameras only showed an empty area when the truck parked in the back.

They quickly got done what they needed to do, even if they did leave a big mess behind.

Soon after, the group came in through the elevator with Klaue walking through first like a champion. His prized possession, his arm weapon, had been taken away. So, he honestly looked a bit pathetic. Just a crazy man with a grey beard that needed to pay a lot of people.

He walked into the suite and sighed.

"Well at least we've got the diamonds"

Erik shook his head. "We should fly tomorrow morning. I'd consider that late considering the mess we made for the CIA but that should give you enough time, Klaue, to sort your affairs"

Klaue groaned as he straightened himself on the couch "Yup, you're right. I'll talk to Mr.Kim in a bit" He pointed at the rest of the men spread across the living room "And don't worry each of you will get your cut" With that confirmation many of them left to their own quarters.

As if magically appearing, the elevator doors opened to reveal Mr. Kim, right on cue.

He opened his arms wide. "Ah, Klaue it's lovely to have you back"

Klaue chuckled "Great timing as always" He motioned to Erik "Bring out the case"

Erik went off into another room and quickly returned with a steel case and a small pouch. Klaue took both of them and opened the case to reveal an interior filled to the brim with small shining diamonds. He generously filled the pouch as he handed it to Mr. Kim. They shook hands as Klaue slapped the man on the shoulder. Mr. Kim glanced at Klaue over his glasses "Always a pleasure doing business with you" Klaue nodded.

Around 6 am the next morning we had all packed and gone our separate ways. Klaue, me, Erik Jasmine and a guard whom would be our pilot were on our way to an old car lot to an escape plane. One that was planed to take us back to America, however me and Erik had other plans. The other men were payed and left to leave the country in numerous ways. I had said goodbye to Connor much to Erik's annoyance, but overall I found his jealousy funny. He couldn't hide nor contain it, which made it all the more easier to tease him over.

We slowly walked in-between the cars as a small plane cleared into view.

"When I get back to Joburg, and I lay low for a bit, I'll make sure you guys get paid" Klaue said carelessly

"Oh, I ain't worried about the money bro" Erik replied

"I know you're good for it"

We all gathered around the plane. Me, Erik and the pilot were off on the left side, while Jasmine and Klaue were on the right. We all loaded our bags into the seats

"On our way back, just drop us off in Wakanda"Erik said

"You don't wanna go there boy" Klaue replied with a slight anger in his tone

"Yeah, I do" with that Erik drew his gun and put three bullets in the guard's chest, that gave me barely enough time to draw mine out and point it at Klaue and Jasmine.

Klaue had Jasmine in a chokehold as he pointed his gun at her head.

"Put your guns down now!" Klaue yelled at us

I laughed "Aw you think she's an asset" my expression quickly turned into a cold one as I looked Jasmine dead in the eye "Funny, she was never an asset". I pulled the trigger and shot one bullet straight into her head. They both fell down at the sudden hit.

Klaue ran off, hiding behind cars. The bullets we fired after him ricocheted off the rotting old cars and planes in the surrounding.

The ambush quickly turned into a hunt.

I went off to the left as Killmonger went off to the right in order to corner Klaue. After a moment of going off in different directions I heard shots and finally Klaue's groan. I ran in the direction of the sound to see Klaue on the ground leaning next to a car his gun kicked away. While Erik towered over him, Klaue looked him in the eye "They're savages" He pointed to the scar on his neck "This. This is what they do to people like us." He pleaded trying to knock some sense into Erik.

"I ain't worried about no brand, check these out" Erik pulled up his shirt to reveal the hundreds of scars running up his arm; I smiled at the sight of it. "Each one is for a kill"

"You can scar yourself as much as you'd like. To them you're both just outsiders. You're crazy to think you can just walk in there" Klaue breathed. I neared the scene watching the man in pain.

Erik pulled down his lip to show the war dog tattoo, I did the same with a grin. For the first time I saw Klaue looked surprised. His eyes never left our iridescent blue marks.

"Ah to think I saw you as some crazy American. And you." He turned his eyes to meet mine, he shook his head. "That explains your ambition, coming out of no where to help a bunch of lunatics? I should've known."He chuckled to himself, as his manic laugh echoed throughout the lot.

Erik put the last bullet in him, finally creating silence in the field.

"I suppose that was the perfect way for him to go" I said

"Laughing while dying? I wouldn't expect anything less"

We bagged his body and loaded it onto the plane. Erik piloted the trip.

In a couple of hours we saw the green fields of Wakanda, what from the outside looked like an agriculture based country, but we both knew it held so much more.

As we passed the forests and fields I turned to Erik.

"Erik?"

"Hm"

"Who was that guy in the panther suit in Korea?"

He scoffed "The king himself"

I laughed "No, you have to be joking, there's no way"

"Didn't your parents tell you the stories of the black panther, the warrior and protector of Wakanda, well that's him"

I stopped to think for a minute "I-its been so long, yeah, I remember now that you've said it, but...it's been so long since I've revisited those stories"

He glanced over at me as I looked emptily across the horizon.

"Hey" he said trying to draw me out of my own blackhole, "We'll get the answers you're looking for. Whether we have to kill a couple of people or not, we'll get what we need. I promised that to you"

I smiled lazily at him. His words were comforting but it could never make the pain ease. Whether I did find out what happened to my family. I knew, in the pits of my despair and anger, that they were all dead.
