Finn and Gwen walking to school with me became a daily thing. So did Robin walking home with us.

"I have a game tomorrow. You guys should come." Finn says.
"Alright I will." I say.
"So will I." Robin says. Finn nods smiling.

"Bye see you tomorrow." I say as Finn and Gwen keep walking since me and Robin both turn.

We get to my house. I notice dad isn't home.
"He's not home." I say.
"Oh." He says.
"Well uhh do you wanna come in?" I ask. He looks up at me shocked.
"Yeah. Sure."

I open the door and let him in.
"Do you want some snacks?" I ask.
"Yeah sure."

I grab his arm and lead him to the kitchen.
"Just let me know if you find something you want." I say sitting down on the counter.

"Oh my god can we make cookies?" He says turning to me. I see he's holding cookie dough. "Please." He adds. I smile at him. He looks so cute.

"Yeah sure." I say.
"Thank you." He says smiling.

I go and grab the pan. I hand it to him and he starts to get spoonfuls of the cookie dough and put it on the pan.

I look over at him and notice him eat one.
"Robin!" I yell.
"Sorry!" He yells back.
"No I want one." I say. He laughs and gets a spoonful and holds it out for me. I smile as I eat it.

He goes back to putting them on the pan.

Once the oven is done heating up he picks up the pan.
"Can you open it?"
"Mhm." I open the oven and he puts it in. I set a timer and grab his arm and drag him upstairs.

I fall onto my bed. He sits down next to me.

"What's that?" He asks looking at my picture.
"What?" I ask sitting up. He points at the photo of me and my mom.

"Oh that's me and my mom. It was a couple months ago, before she died." I say.
"I'm sorry." He says looking at me.
"It's okay." I say.

"She was pretty, you look a lot like her." He says. I smile at him.

I go to lay back down and accidentally lay on his lap. I sit up.
"Shit sorry." I say.
"Lay back down its fine." He say. I lay down hoping he doesn't see how pink my cheeks turned.

He reaches down and moves my hair out of my face. I smile.

He doesn't look away from me. I sit up slowly not losing eye contact. I feel his hand move to the small of my back. We both are starting to move closer to each other. I hear the timer go off and back away.

"Let's go check on them." I say standing up.
"Uhm yeah." He says.

We walk downstairs and I turn the oven off.
"Here I got it." He says taking them out. They look ready.

"Okay let's just wait like 10 minutes." He says. I nod.
"Yeah my dad should be getting home soon so just be ready to introduce yourself."
"Okay."

We talk for bit until the cookies have cooled off.

I grab a cookie and take a bite.

The door opens.
"Hi Y/n." Dad says.
"Hi dad we made cookies if you want one." I say.
"Yeah who's this?" He asks.
"I'm Robin." Robin says sticking his hand out.
"Hi Robin, I'm her dad." Dad says. They shake hands.

We go back upstairs and eat a lot of the cookies before Robin has to go.
"Thanks for having me over." He says.
"Yeah of course. I'll see you tomorrow." I say. He hugs me.
"See ya." He says walking off.

"So Robin?" Dad asks.
"Just a friend dad." I say.
"I don't know. He looked at you differently."
"Oh okay." I laugh.

The next day I shower and get dressed.

The phone rings, I pick it up.
"Y/n." Gwen says.
"Hi." I say.
"You have to walk with Robin cause Finney needs to be there earlier and I'm walking with him." She says.
"Okay see you there." I hang up and finish getting ready.

There's a knock at the door.
"Y/n! It's for you!" Dad yells.
"Coming." I say running down the stairs.

It's Robin.

"Bye dad." I say.
"Have fun." He says.

We walk out. We start to make our way to the baseball game.

We get there and they're still warming up. We sit with Gwen.

A group of guys I don't recognize walk over.
"Hey Y/n." The tallest of the group says.
"Hi?" I say confused.
"So I'm wondering if you wanna come to my place after the game?" He says moving close to me. He puts a hand on my knee.
"Uhh." I say having no clue what to say. I feel myself grab my necklace anxiously.

I feel an arm drape over my shoulder.
"Keep fucking walking." Robin says.
"Mike, shit." A guy behind him says.
"My bad didn't know you were with her." He says.
"Okay you can keep walking now, or we're gonna have a problem." Robin says. The guys walk away.

I feel Robins arm slide off my shoulders.

It makes me feel kinda sad.

"Thank you." I say.
"Yeah of course he's a creep." He says. "You deserve better." He says.
"Like you." Gwen says. We both turn to her. "Just saying."

We turn and watch as the game starts.

I can't help but want to move even closer to Robin.

Our hands kept accidentally touching as we set them down on the bench.

Once the game ends we all walk out.

Robin throws his arm around me again. I look over at him and me nudges his head towards the group of boys watching.

I nod.

"What's the arm thing about?" Finn asks once Robin removed it.
"Some random guys were being weird so he pretended to be with me." I say.
"I think he likes her but won't admit it." Gwen says. Robin rolls his eyes.

We all get to our houses.
