I open my eyes. Robin is laying next to me.

"Wakey wakey." The Grabber says. I notice Robin wake up.

He sits up and I do the same.
"We need food." I say.
"Well I can't bring you anything to eat so you'll have to wait."
"Is there someone upstairs who will see you bring us food?" I ask.
"Don't you worry abt that."
"If you weren't going to feed us why fucking bother coming down here?" Robin asks.
"I just wanted to look at you." He says leaving.

I sigh scared and unsure what to do. I reach for my necklace and realize it's gone.
"Shit." I mutter so only I can hear.

"Just come back to bed." Robin says laying back down. "That pendejo can go to hell."
I lay down next to him.

I'm cold, I now regret wearing a shortsleeved shirt to school on Friday.
"What's wrong?" Robin asks.
"Im a little cold." I say.
"Come here." He says opening his arms. I look up at him for a second before moving closer to him.

His body heat instantly warms me up. I find myself wrapping my arms around his waist and his arms are around me.

I feel safe.

"Robin." I say.
"Hmm?"
"This is the first time I've felt truly safe since we got here." I say. He rubs his thumb on my back.
"I will do everything I can to keep him from hurting you I promise." He says. I smile moving even closer to him.

After a bit I wake up to the phone ringing. I try to sit up without waking Robin up, but fail.
"I'm sorry." I whisper as I pick up the phone.

It's staticky.
"Hello? Is somebody there? Hello?" I ask. I look over at Robin.
"Hey." It says. I hang the phone up and move back over to Robin. He grabs my arm confused at my reaction.

"What happened? Are you okay?"
"It just fucking answered." I say.
"That's not possible." He says.
"I know."

It starts ringing again. I take a sharp breath.
"Is it ringing?" He asks as I nod going to pick it up.

"Don't hang up." The unknown boy says.
"I won't. Who is this?" I ask.
"I don't remember my name." He says.

"What's it saying?" Robin asks.
"He doesn't remember his name." I say.
"Why not?" He asks.
"It's the first thing you lose."
"First thing you lose when?" I ask.
"You know when."

I repeat it to Robin.
"Ask him if he remembers anything about himself." He says.
"Tell him I can hear him." He says.
"He can hear you." I say.
"Okay, well?"
"Well I remember playing baseball." He says.
"Baseball. He played baseball." I say to Robin hoping he might know who it is.
"Bruce." He says.

"Bruce?" I say to the boy.
"Yeah Bruce. I'm Bruce." He says.
"Did you hear the phone?" Robin asks.
"It rang but none of us heard it. Just you, Y/n. The Grabber hears the phone too, but he doesn't want to believe it." He says. I repeat it to Robin.

"Why are you calling us?" I ask.
"There's a dirt section of the floor in the hallway where the tile is loose." He says.
"Okay."
"Dig down underneath the foundation. I tried but there wasn't time for me to dig up the other side."
"Will we have enough time?" I ask. The call ends.

"Enough time for?" Robin asks.
"Bruce?" I ask hoping he answers. He doesn't. I hang the phone up and tell Robin.

He runs to where the tile is. He punches it making it break. We peel it away and start digging.

I look at the pile of dirt.
"I've got an idea." I say.
"Go for it." Robin says. I take some of it to the toilet. I flush it down. I continue flushing all the dirt Robin digs out.

Once we get tired we go back to the mattress.

"How do you think Finn and Gwen are doing?" I ask.
"Hopefully kicking some ass." Robin says. I laugh.
"I would love to see Finn stop taking shit."
"Yeah so do I." He laughs.

The door opens.

I move back and Robin stands up.
He sets two plates of egg on the floor.
"What did you put in that?" Robin asks eying the food suspiciously.
"Salt and pepper." The Grabber laughs.

Robin looks back at me quickly.
"Eat it don't eat it, you're already down here. What do I need to drug you for?" He says before leaving.

The door didn't click.
"It's open." I say. Robin runs to it.

The phone rings.
"Wait." I say to Robin running to the phone.

"Hello?" I ask.
"Don't go upstairs." He says.
"Why not?"
"It's a trap."
"What's he saying?" Robin asks.
"To not go upstairs and that it's a trap." I say.
"Are you Bruce?" Robin asks standing next to me.
"Who's Bruce?"
"We were just talking to Bruce." I say.
"I don't know any Bruce." He says.
"He doesn't know Bruce." I say to Robin.
"He's the baseball player."
"We don't play baseball here." I repeat what he said to Robin.
"Who are you?" Robin asks.
"I don't remember."
"Did you play soccer? football?" I ask desperate for any clues.
"I delivered newspapers."
"He delivered newspapers." I say to Robin.
"Billy. You're Billy Showalter." Robin says.
"Maybe."
"'No you're Billy." I say.
"Do not go upstairs." He says. I repeat to Robin.
"What is he doing?" He asks.
"He's waiting... on the other side with that fucking belt. He didn't say you can leave, so if you try, he'll punish you. He'll beat you with that belt until you pass out. It hurts kid, it hurts real bad. You'll cry, you'll beg him to stop. We all did. But he just keeps beating you."
"What the fuck?" Robin says as I tell him. The call ends.
"Hello? Billy?" I ask. No response so I hang up.

We walk to the door. Robin opens it to look up. It's stairs. He closes it.

I walk over to the food.
"God I'm starving." I say.
"So am I." Robin says.
