The laughter filled the room after she spoke cracking another joke as we sat on the couches with a soft fire crackling

"You're going scare Lila off with those stupid infatuous jokes!" Della continued to laugh as her mother scolded her

"Sorry mama, sorry Lila. I think my mother likes you more than her own daughter" she mumbled

I laughed leaning back into Aces arms as he enveloped me into them. It had only been twenty four hours since Della found my secret but she'd promised to keep it.

"You know I just never thought my brother would find someone with a sense of humor" she mused "or just anyone in general" he scoffed

"Wow you picture me to be so lonely huh?"

"Well when you're 26 and haven't had a serious girlfriend it concerns a younger sister"

"You don't give Cadenza any crap"

"Trust me I do, come on I need a niece or nephew I have baby fever and it needs to be healed!"

"You know the first step to getting help is admitting you have a problem, proud of you Della" he added as she gasped

"I think she needs more than a 5 step" Sienna came in with a red mug in hand settling by the fire "she's been planning my wedding for years"

"Can you blame me! Tell Austen to be a man and put a ring on it, it's been five years!" She huffed

"Austen's my boyfriend" Sienna looked to me "and we agreed that we'd get married after my second year the firm, I need to get comfortable with my job and-"

"When you end up pregnant before the proposal we won't be surprised" Carina gasped at Della's words "ADELINE!"

"Bowman" she filled it "incredible character Blake Lively killed that role"

"I agree" I mumbled

"Don't you have a show in Milan you should be preparing for hm?" Carina quizzed as she sighed standing up

"I was waiting for you to blow out the candles on your cake mama, you only turn 55 once" she mused kissing her on the cheek and signaling her to stand

"Up, up everyone to the kitchen!" She demanded as we all stood following Della as Sienna rushed before all of them to the kitchen

"28 or 8 years old can never tell?" Ace sighed

"I heard that!" Sienna bellowed from the archway

I had yet to step into their kitchen but it was even more marvelous than Ace's. It was incredible vintage and old, the walls were a dusty yellow with textures and light detailed cracks. It was meant to look this way

The chef exited the room as a cake was left on the island table and a woman came rushing in behind Carina covering her eyes "guess who!"

Her mother gasped turning to face the raven haired girl, she was identical to her father in a beautiful way "Sofia!" Carina joyed wrapping her arms around her "my baby" she stepped back
