"HELLO?" Valerie's voice boomed through the call, causing JJ and Vik to jump at the volume, and Harry and Tobi to throw their headphones off.
"TURN YOUR MIC DOWN!" JJ hollered back at her whilst Vik began laughing maniacally and fiddling with her image of her profile picture on his screen, dialling her volume down.
"Is this better?" Valerie asked, her mic seemingly more quiet, but still as fuzzy.
"WHERE ARE YOU HOLDING YOUR MIC? IS IT LITERALLY IN YOUR MOUTH?! YOU SOUND SO DISTORTED." JJ continued hollering at her.
"WHAT? WAIT, LET ME TURn the mic down here. Is it less dodgy sounding now?"
"Yeah yeah yeah you're calm now." Tobi responded. "Alright, join our lobby boys... And girl."
"Boys is a collective word for a general group of people- you don't need to specify me by 'girl', Tobes."
"Tobes?"
"I don't know, it sounded less aggressive than saying Tobi."
"What's your nickname then."
"Val?" Harry suggested.
