Hello guys!! This is a guide on our favorite forest ranger, Tighnari!
Overview Tighnari is a 5 star Dendro Bow Burst DPS, that deals lots of numbers in rapid succession with his burst and charge attacks. His rapid attacks allow him to use the Quicken reaction very well.

As for Talent Priorities:
Normal Attack >= Elemental Burst > Elemental Skill
- Artifacts 1a. 4p Wanderer's Troupe (his best set to maximize charge attack damage, more preferred than GD since you probably have a set with better substats right now) 1b. 4p Gilded Dreams (Provides a lot of EM ao you can focus on attack% or crit for substats) 2. 4p Deepwood Memories (it works if you have a team with 1 dendro character, usually preferred to be put on your second dendro character) 3. 2p 80 EM or 2p Deepwood (You can use this set when farming for 4p wanderers or 4p GD)
Artifact Main Stats- Sands: Attack% or EM Goblet: Dendro DMG bonus Circlet: Crit
Recommended EM: 200-300 Recommended ER: 140-160% if 1 dendro; 100-120% if double dendro Recommended Attack: 1.2 to 1.5k (depends if you use Attack% sands or EM sands)
- Weapons 5* 1. Hunters Path ; his signature weapon, highest damage overal 2. Amos Bow ; gives attack so you can focus on EM for artifacts, passive works well 3. Thundering Pulse/Polar Star/Aqua Simulacra ; crit + base attack stat stick, passive for polar star and aqua works too 4. Skyward Harp ; crit stat stick 5. Elegy of the End ; usable but preferred to be on your Collei or someone else
4* 1a. Stringless ; good f2p option, passive increases burst damage which is good 1b. Prototype Crescent ; another good f2p option, it helps give you attack so you can focus on EM for artifacts 2. Windblume Ode ; probably his best f2p option but its lower on the list since a decent amount of people dont have it 3. King's Squire ; decent option, passive is ok
(Note: R5 Slingshot is a good weapon on him Although his homing arrows would get the 10% decrease damage,its worth it since his hardest hitting shot is his initial shot. This bow has crit rate stat too which is useful, but requires you to play close range to take full effect so make sure to use a shielder)
- Teams Tighnari is a good quick swap burst DPS, and he works very well with other electro characters as well as his fellow dendro characters. Due to the limited dendro roster, its usually better to use electro and anemo units with him.
Tighnari Quicken Team (1 dendro) Tighnari ; Yae Miko/Fischl ; Raiden/Beidou/Fischl ; Sucrose/Kazuha (This team allows Tighnari to do high damage within his 4-5 second damage window, as well as provide dendro for the quicken reaction so fischl/yae miko can do high damage too. Using raiden can help with energy issues since youre running 1 dendro)
Tighnari Quicken Team (2 dendro) Tighnari ; Collei/DMC ; Fischl/Yae ; Flex (defensive support (This team although provides less damage due to the other dendro characters being supports/sub dps. But it makes up for it with the dendro resonance which gives a lot of EM. The flex slot can be Zhongli, Kuki or Jean.)
Tighnari Hyperbloom Tighnari ; Fischl/Yae ; Kokomi ; Flex (dendro/anemo) (This team focuses on triggering both aggravate, spread and hyperbloom. Without Kokomi, this team would not work because the other hydro options apply hydro too fast or too slow, or they just dont synergize with Tighnari. The flex slot can be sucrose, kazuha or collei.)
Tighnari could do ok in bloom teams as an on field quickswap DPS/ driver but it isnt recommended since his dendro uptime is very low compared to the two off field dendro options. Burning could work but Spread would provide the highest damage output. Just use any team that you like and have fun with the new reactions!
- End Tighnari seems to be a very good burst DPS that does decent damage within his 4-5 second dps window. He's a very good 5 star dendro character to introduce us to this new element. I hope my fellow Tighnari mains will have fun playing with him!!!
(Note: Further into the future, there would be a lot more characters designed with dendro in mind so maybe there will be new teams/new options to use for tighnari!)
