Hello everyone!!! sorry i had to postpone my nilou guide for a few days cuz i was a bit sick... still not fully recovered but im not as tired as before so i'll quickly finish this guide for her :D
Overview Nilou is a 5 star Hydro Sword support/on field enabler, mainly used for bloom (bountiful core) teams which incorporates both her A1 and A4 passive to maximize the team's bloom damage. She can also act as a hydro vaporize or electro charged like childe/ayato due to her good scaling on her elemental skill and burst. It is more recommended to use bloom for Nilou though.

As for Talent Priorities
Elemental Skill >= Elemental Burst (Note: Nilou's elemental skill "normal attack" has separate scaling in her elemental skill talent. DO not level her normal attack unless youre playing with a physical build)
- Artifacts 1. Gilded Dreams 4p (180 EM from artifact set, altho doesnt provide HP, it is a good weapon to help balance EM and HP) 2. 2p combination of Heart Of Depth, Tenacity of the Millelith, Emblem of Severed Fate, 80 EM (all are good but tenacity + 80 EM is recommended)
Artifact main stats- Sands: HP% Goblet: HP% or Hydro DMG% Circlet: HP% or Crit
Recommended HP: 50k+ w/o signature; 65k+ w signature Recommended ER: dont need ER (dont use burst) or 140%-160%
Weapons 5* 1. Key of Khaj Nisut ; best weapon overall, gives a lot of HP and EM to self and party from passive 2. Freedom Sworn ; very good EM stat stick
4* 1a. Festering Desire ; elemental skill dmg%, good for on field nilou 1b. Sacrificial Sword ; very good for on field nilou 1c. Favonius Sword ; very good ER stat (could use on traveller if youre using other weapons) 2. Xiphos Moonlight ; actually very good on nilou, its lower than the others cuz its exclusively on the weapon banner 3. Iron Sting ; EM stat stick + dmg percent passive is ok 4. Sapwood Blade ; ideally you should use this on traveller but its ok on nilou too

Teams Nilou is a niche unit by design but being a hydro character has its perks. She could be fit into any vaporize team (high burst damage) and electro charged teams (comfy play style; ayato is better tho) however you want. (Note: playing vaporize, electro charged and hyperbloom may render about half of nilou's kit useless so please beware...)
Nilou Bloom Nilou ; Kokomi ; Traveller ; Collei (Her best team, can use her whole kit. This team is semi-limited to AOE scenarios since it's aoe damage is very high. Well invested nilou bloom can reach 45-55k bloom damage with high EM and ER on the other 3 units) (Note: One user is recommended to use the 4p deepwoods)
Nilou Vaporize (Nilou Vaporize Nuke + Xiangling Vaporize) Nilou ; Yelan ; Xiangling ; Kazuha/Zhongli (This team could use bennett over yelan for more xiangling damage but nilou could not supply enough hydro to vape all of xiangling's hits. adding yelan can remedy this since you dont need xingqiu amounts of hydro with nilou on fielding. nilou can backload her burst with the maximum buff from yelan to deal more damage as well)
Nilou Electro Charged Nilou ; Fischl/Yae Miko ; Kuki/Xingqiu ; Sucrose (Kuki and Xingqiu are interchangeable but i would recommend Kuki for comfort. At some point you'd do enough damage where putting a healer instead of a sub dps would be way more comfy and easy to play.) (Note again :0 : please DONT USE BEIDOU !!!!! nilou's "normal attacks" count as elemental skill damage and thus does not trigger beidou's burst sadly)
Nilou Hyperbloom Nilou ; Kuki/Raiden ; Xingqiu/Zhongli ; Traveller (This team is pretty meh imo youre better off using sucrose or yelan in nilou's slot)

End As a Nilou wanter (saving for c0 r1 when rerun), i am really satisfied with her satisfying and unique gameplay. Some niche units are needed in a game full of so many reactions, elements and weapon types to make the game more fun/let you try a new playstyle. I hope my simple Nilou guide could help you build your favorite dancer. Good luck pulling her for the remaining 10-12 days !!!
