After Live Aid the band decided to take a little break to focus on themselves and their families, which was really nice.
It took him a while but Roger eventually plucked up the courage to ask me to marry him. I of course said yes, though I think I gave him a little heartattack when j first said no as a joke.
"Right who's ready to go party at Uncle Freddies house?" Roger asked.
Oh I forgot to me tonight that me and Roger settled down and had children, two to be specific.
Freddies parties are always the best! Even with the kids they are epic, child friendly to.
"Thank you for coming tonight, I kniw its a struggle with children" Freddie said as we arrived.
"Tell me about it" Roger said carrying in the carseat.
"I won the bet then darling" he said to me thunkjng Roger wasn't listening .
"What bet?"
"Nothung Roger...don't worry" I said hugging him. Oh hea Roger finally gave in and let Freddie call me darling. He didn't get much of a say in the matter.
I look back on mine and Rogers relationship and look how far we've come. Wondering what my life would have been like if I did t go to the pub that night, or didn't go and talk to them, or become their manager. I have everything I could wish for, perfect friends, perfect children, a perfect husband.
I don't go a day without thinking of the words my old friend Hazel said to me the first time I saw Roger drumming on that little stage at the Uni pub...
