~A Stabbed Love~

Chapter 4: ~The Walk~

That evening they took their walk, with their horses of course.

"So...were very happy you and your kind family moved in" Whitey started the conversation.

"Oh! Yes! We love it here, better than our last town." she continued on, as he hummed to the things she'd say.

"Well uh- I'm especially happy about one thing," he said.

"And that is?" Kay asked.

They stopped their horses and Whitey looked into her eyes, "I'm really happy such a beautiful and kind young woman like yourself moved here, and I'm lucky enough to have that beautiful woman sitting right here next to me on her horse".

Kay blushed but smiled, "Oh yeah? Well I'm very happy to have the kindness, cutest, ding dang boy I ever did see sitting right next to me"

Whitey was flattered by her words and leaned in, with no question Kay leaned in as well, and before they knew it they kissed, but with kissing they were leaning too far over on their horses, and before they knew it they were on the ground. They laid there for a moment looking at each other and they just started laughing. Kay was about to get up from the ground but before she knew Whitey grabbed her waist and pulled her down looked her into her eyes and in that sudden moment, kissed her once more.
They arrived back in town late when the sheriff's sister confronted them. "What are yall still doing up?" she asked them.

"Well, I took Kay on a walk" Whitey explained.

"Yeah I saw yall ride off, at sunset." she seemed a bit ticked that we were back late.
"We're sorry we're back late, we had a very lovely walk" Kay said with a smile.

"Hm...alright then, run along now. Get home Kay." they both nodded and Whitey walked Kay home.

"I had a very wonderful time," she said.

"As did I". For one last kiss of the night he pulled her close and asked "I'll see you tomorrow right?"

"Indeed," Kay said with a smile.
