Harry's POV

One day on Venus is longer than one year on earth.

I wonder if days for Venus pass in slow motion.

For me, days have been passing in slow motion. It’s tiring.

Nothing moves fast anymore.

But when I get out of our new car, the one that doesn’t smell like raspberries anymore, and I spot Louis, Louis, my Louis sitting on the ground at our tree, everything passes way too fast.

“Go, say hi”, my dad says and smiles.

When I told him that I didn’t want to be a firefighter anymore, he said that that’s okay. I could be an astronaut.

They’re even braver.

So as the astronaut I am, I walk up to him, not slowly anymore, normal, I’m finally back from Venus.

“Hi”, I say.

“Hi”, he says back.

Lots of things have changed about him. His voice has gotten even deeper. I’m being sucked into the black hole again.

I’m getting all dizzy with how he looks at me.

“You’re back.”
