Darkness...that not even he can see his own silhouette when he tries to look down at his hands, but he couldn't even move his hands to begin with, he was stuck...in a prison that is his own mind. A coma, is what many like to call it. He can hear voices come and go, most are were from his adults, some were from people around his age, but none were "hers". He tried desperately to free himself from this bind, but it was a daunting task, one that only a select few have ever done.
He tries to move his toes, nothing. He tries to move his head, nothing. His hands, however, small twitches and then finally...Light.
