So, I did a collab. That rarely happens. And this took a long time, somewhere since end of August.
My partner in crime? xxsoteriaWe agreed on terms/prompt quite easily.
Manipulation, 16:9, fantastical worlds, up to five elements for the base, palette from a movie.
Looking at how weird the base is, I'm in awe that Xxsoteria could make an actual scene out if it.
This was a journey. Hard one. Palette is from Narnia and that influenced my initial direction. Spent well over 24 hours making it and then just couldn't like it for some reason. I might rework it at some point because it has potential but overall I think it has too many things going on and light is boring and too much at places. There are many things I still like about it and many that I don't. I definitely need to up my grass game and understanding of depth.
So, after a lot of staring, I got brave enough to start from scratch, focusing more on a scene instead of scenery. And the idea grew from there. I call this manipulation "The Myth of Creation".
It's supposed to present a scene from imaginary mythology of how earth sorcerer captured the Princess of the Sky.
The story got out of the hand and came to have way too many details for me to explain them here.I'm not sure if it's all of them. I changed it so many times.
I am enjoying collaborations. They make me flex my brain to the point of breaking and there is something exhilarating about it.
