I close the front door and walk down the crunchy leafy pathway.

"I'll come back to you when I find out something. Okay?" I tell him.

Luckily he had agreed with me upon this.

Arthur was standing against a huge tree, arms folded.

I walked towards him and said, "Okay we can go back now."

"All done?" He asked.

"All done." I said following him back to where we met.

-

My feet touch the squeaky and familiar hardwood floor.

I put my hand over my chest, trying to slow down my rapid breathing.

I look around the room, Mr. Davis wasn't here.

I did it. I did it! I thought to myself.

I had done all of this all by myself, of course with Mr. Davis's help.

I couldn't process the thought that I, Edward Peirce, an ordinary, lonely man had done just traveled in the future.

I loved every bit of this.

I rubbed my eyes before my tear could fall down my cheek, I ran to Mr. Davis's study room in extreme excitement, surely that's where he'd be.

But when I opened the door to his study room, he wasn't there.

I looked everywhere else but no sign of him.

I went out into the fresh air.

No sign of him either.

Where could he be?

I kept going further and further.

Searching here and there and then finally I got to my home.

Just as I was about to give up searching for him and go rest in my house, I saw him.

He was getting my sheep into their sheepfold.

I smiled and started running towards him, "Mr. Davis! Mr. Davis!"

He turned around to the sound of his name and made eye contact with me.

He grinned widely, "Edward, my son, you're back!"

I ran even faster and finally reached him.

I hugged him and looked back at him.

"What are you doing here?" I asked, out of breath.

"Sorry, I didn't realize you'd be back so soon, so I decided I'd go take care of your sheep and also check up on your house. Hope you don't mind." He said.

"Not at all. Now I have two things to thank you for." I smiled.

"Two things? What could they be?" I saw the bewildered look on his face.

"Thank you for looking after my sheep and checking up house," I say.

"Anytime, son." He pats my shoulder.

"And for helping me with everything I did today, for helping me get my ability out. Thank you so much." I smile.

He hugs me tightly and says, "No, thank you for making me realize I'm not stupid."

"I can't believe it worked! How did it go?"

"Well, you better believe it. If you could think of this whole concept of teleportion, how could you not think of it happening in reality? Also it went great, a little scary, but that's because it was my first time. I loved it!"
