IT had been six days since austin had seen his girlfriend, after saying goodbye to her in the airport back in australia. the two has been facetiming and messaging, but with one in los angeles and the other in new york, it was hard to meet up in person.

she was playing a one night only with her band tonight, in a huge venue. everyone was so hyped for the show.

austin had told her that he couldn't go, which wasn't a lie. he couldn't. but, somehow, he had managed to clear his schedule and fly out to los angeles last minute.

she tightened her guitar strap around her shoulder, testing her guitar as she listened to the crowds scream in the stadium.

zac and max were hyping each other up by fake fighting in the corner, vinnie was filming them fight, and lennon was thinking about life.

because life had been so sweet lately.

she couldn't help but think something would go wrong at any given minute, because she's never been this happy before.

"you're on in five, guys!" a crew member clapped loudly, walking around the backstage to make sure everything was in check.

the four bandmates huddled up together, and began to speak.

"just do what you do best, and don't try stage dive this time, max, please?" zac said, looking at max.

"fine." he rolled his eyes.

"and lennon, just be sexy and play your guitar as you always do, perfectly!" vinnie flicked her head softly.

"alright, let's break a leg." lennon said, hugging the boys before running out onto the stage.

the music to their song static started to play, as the four musicians ran onto the stage. the crowd erupted in screams, even louder than the ones before.

there was one hundred thousand people in the stadium, all there to watch their favourite band preform. it was incredible.

"baby you got something in your nose, sniffing that k, did you fill the hole? hope you find peace for yourself, new boyfriend ain't gon fill the void," zac sang into his mic, as the rest of them played their instruments.

one girl was mesmerised by zac, her mouth literally agape as she watched him sing.

she's so real for that.

"do you even really like this track? take away the drugs, would you feel the noise? more and more you try to run away, you fucking yourself, do you feel the toy?" he sang.

vinnie wrote this song at the start of the year, right after breaking up with his ex. they had been together since they were teenagers, and he was devastated. many of the songs on the new album were about her.

"uh, lookin' for a bitch 'cause i'm over boys, would you be my girlfriend, baby? ooh, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, somethin' turned me off," he sang, "smoking made me, 'cause i'm longing for something secure."

"if you had to, stunt your shining. for your lover, dump that fucker,"

the band got through three more songs, sex on fire, stolen dance and do i wanna know?

which meant the next song was summertime sadness, the one song lennon was dreading because she was the one who sang it.

"kiss me hard before you go, summertime sadness," she gulped nervously, her hands mindlessly playing her guitar, "i just wanted you to know, that baby you the best,"

"i got my red dress on tonight," which was kind of ironic because she did indeed, have a red dress on tonight, "dancing in the dark, in the pale moonlight,"
