dahlias pov
rain started pelting the roof when i began to actually think. why did i say that. oh my god i don't even know if that's what she wants. but she just smirks back getting rid of any thoughts that opposed the idea.
"i wouldn't stop you" she quotes me from earlier. i smile and before i realise i'm leaning forward again.
the second i feel her lips on mine i feel complete. the world literally not mattering.
im not one to say the basic oh my god our lips fit perfectly together it was meant to be. but that's what this kiss felt like.
then i realised. i'm kissing y/n y/l/n. and she's kissing me back.
i pull away for air and she's smirking at me from below me. "falling for me already pine"
"how could i not" i smile pecking her lips again. she pulls me down from where i was propped up and into a hug.
grinning i dig my hands under her back hugging just as tight.
y/n pov
OH MY FUCKING GOD WHAT WAS THAT. DAHLIA FUCKING PINE JUST KISSED ME.
IM PANICKING WHAT DOES ONE DO AFTER THAT.
OH MY GOD
WHAT THE RUCK.
i'm in love.
my smile was ridiculously huge. i cannot believe what just happened was real. dahlias head on my chest as we hug. this moment. perfection.
i strain my neck to look at the window as rain drops already race down the glass. until there is a knock on the door.
dahlia groans getting up off me and opening her door.
"i just got some snacks out for happy hour. you girls better get some before your brother takes them all" her mum smiles at us.
"we will thank you" dahlia smiles band her mum walks away.
by now i was sitting up leaning back on my arms.
"come on babe. we got food to devour" dahlia grins making me laugh. she hauls me up off the floor and doesn't let go of my hand as we walked through the house to the kitchen.
i never thought about it but we are both so accustomed to holding each others hands it felt normal. like earlier as she gave me the tour or when i was pulling her around school that type of thing.
once we got there hayden was already stuffing various foods into his mouth. before grabbing a blue plastic bowl from a cupboard mixing a bunch of foods and disappearing into his room.
dahlia follows in suit grabbing two bowls and passing one to me. there was cheese and dip and crackers fruit and some chips. as well as a block of dark chocolate half gone. half taken by hayden.
"take whatever you want" dahlia smiles grabbing some food.
"so avengers. first then age of ultron, infinity war and endgame" before we even picked the music it was a mutual agreement we were gonna have a marvel marathon.
"you wanna see me cry huh" i rolled my eyes.
"i would pay to see that" dahlia laughs throwing popcorn in the air and catching it in her mouth.
"2 i can cry in command 2 if i do that cry im calling scarlet and telling her to make kevin bring her back"
"isn't scar in this movie" dahlia questions
"flashback" i mumble thinking about nats death.
watching avengers went on with A LOT of quoting the movie as usual. age of ultron dahlia was going on about how emo wanda was actually superior i agree with her of course.
"i have that dress" i add casually pointing to the black dress wanda wears.
"your kidding right"
"lizzie stole it from wardrobe then the other day i found and stole it from her"
we were just stating infinity war when dahlias father calls us for dinner.
