3rd person pov

a couple hours later, y/n was walking around set with her eyes half open barely dodging people walking past. they were filming in an actual location right now so the public were passing and around but not too close to mess with the scene.

"mum?" she whispered quietly walking into a tent. she only found evans and hemsworth sharing a bag of chips. "have you seen my mum" she asked a bit louder.

"we havent sorry, go check makeup i think shes changing looks right now. its yours and hers break now right?" chris questioned crunching down on another chip. y/n nodded and walked out of the tent thing. she walked to the little van trailer thing and caught her mother just walking out.

"y/n/n, hey i was just about to look for you" she said pulling the teen in for a hug. the girl barely reacted but buried her head in the older actresses chest. when she pulled away her eyes were reddened and glossy. "whats wrong sweetheart?" lizzie questioned concerned.

"im..just, tired" she sighed breathing deeply

"lets go get some morning tea and relax for a bit okay? after your interview tonight we will have a calm girls night, pizza and disney. how does that sound?" y/n just nodded giving her mother a small smile.

"i just need you" the teen wrapped her arms around lizzie one last time and it brought tears to lizzies eyes.

the mother daughter duo walked across the street and a little while away to a small cafe/bakery. it was a cute corner cafe, with a give one take one library, whatever there're actually called. y/n went to take a seat in a window booth lizzie followed not a fast as her daughter.

"kia ora, what can i get for you today?" the waitress came up to them with a smile, lizzie smiled at the girl and ordered hers before shaking y/ns arm gently as the girl had put her head down already.

y/n sat up and ordered her food before widening her eyes and looking at the waitress. "billie?" the teen said unsure. uniforms always make it hard to recognize people.

"hey y/n" the darkhaired girl smiled surprised the actress had remembered her. afterall she could have been just some fan interaction. they hadnt talked to eachother since the plane.

billie walked away to make their orders. and y/n shuffled around the booth to lay her head on her mothers shoulder. the door dinged and in walked scar and evans. "god give me coffee" scarlett said laughing and taking a seat next to the duo "oh hey guys"

another waiter came over to grab their orders, his name tag read jacob and he had to be over 6 feet tall. when the food came y/n just stared at it and almost started to cry. she was exhausted. everything bothered her.

the teen took a deep breath and rested her head against the couch behind her. she felt like ripping her hair out and seeing how bad she could get. keeping up with her lifestyle now was just becoming exhausting.

all of a sudden it starts to bucket down outside. everyone had noticed the clouds rolling in through the early morning but it was not supposed to rain. this means they have to stop filming as hot sets will now look different.

relief washed over y/n as she excepts the break the universe was giving her. "yep filming's delayed till the rain is gone and roads are dry" scarlett said reading from her phone.

"everyones talking about exploring the city, you guys up for that?" renner asked also reading from his phone.

"no we have girls night plans" scar smirked "you boys have fun"

y/n pov

i was quite literally in my pyjamas for this next interview. i was sitting on the desk chair my foot up and window open. starts with the same boring questions before they start to become quite rude.

"wouldnt you say your trauma made you stonger?" the guy asked. i hate this question.

"actually my trauma nearly destroyed me, it gives me nightmares and steals my voice. its given me destructive coping mechanisms and made me feel unloveable. i was handed a terrible situation, one i would not wish on my greatest enemy but ive learned it was not my fault. im stronger despite my trauma, not because of it. there is a difference" that was the most words i had spoken all day.

i heard a sob from behind me and saw lizzie crying and looking at me. this caused me to cry and i waved her over. "and this is my mum, she helped me through it at its worst" lizzie wrapped her arms around my shoulders and hugged me tight resting her head ontop of mine.

"i am so proud of you baby" she whispered kissing my head and going to the bathroom to wipe her face.

"oh god" i laughed as i wipped my face. "sorry about that, i had no intention to get so emotional, its been a long week" the interviewer and i laughed it off and continued the interview.

------------------

"thank you so much for speaking with me today" "oh it was my pleasure" we said our goodbyes but the call never ended.

"so anything in that interview you want off the record?" he asked and i shook my head with a shrug.

"i dont really care that much, use what you wanna use" i smiled and said the actual, final goodbyes. standing up from my chair i walk over to mother and lay ontop of her. "your everything i need, i love you mum"

"i love you too sweetheart, your the best thing thats ever happened to me" '
