Chapter 28

Nandini's pov

I changed into Manik's clothes and stepped out of the bathroom. I put my clothes in the closet and found manik sitting in the balcony. I walked there to find the dinner already there.

"Manik"

"Hi darling, come on the food is getting cold" he siad

I sat beside him and he served food for me

We ate while talking about office stuff, then we cleaned up.

"Go up, ill be there in a second" he said and I nodded

My heart was beating faster than usual thinking about what he has planned. He came up with his laptop in his hands.

"Lay down" he siad

"Tell me na what you are doing" I wined

"Im putting on a movie for us" he said pulling down a projector, a freaking big huge projector

"Ohhhh my gosh this is awesome" I mumbled

"Lay back" he said and I did

He set up the whole thing and put on a rom com movie. He then laid down beside me, feeling him there I put my head on his chest and his arms wrapped around my waist

"Wanna open up to me about how you feel about me" I asked

"I like you nandini, maybe it's more than like but I hope to forever have you around me. You are so unique and different that no matter how hard I try to stay away, I keep coming closer so it's better I stop pushing myself away from you and just face my feelings" he said and my heartbeat sped up

"Manik"

"Lets take this really slow, I wanna know you, I want to hold your hand while coming back home. I want to go on silly fun dates with you. I want to stand In public holding your hand. I wanna show you off to the world. I want you lined at my hip at all times. I just want you no matter what the consequence or situation" he said

I got up sitting facing him while he was still laying down

"Took you a while sir, but I really like you too" I said and he wrapped his arm around my waist caressing my back

"Nandini im gonna be extremely honest about something" I nodded hearing this

"I don't date and you know that, I don't fuck around either, I have had one maybe two flings during college but nothing serious. That girl you saw in my cabin that day went to my college but nothing happened between us. I kinda forgot who she was until I had arun see" I chuckled hearing this

"I know" I mummbled

He patted the bed and I laid down next to him. He kissed my head and I held onto his hand.

"Your hand is big" I said seeing how tiny mine looked compared to him

"You are just short" he said making me smile

"You know what they say about big hands" he looked confused

"What" he asked

I leaned up to his ear and gave him a tiny peck

"Big dick" I said pulling back

I burst out laughing seeing his shocked face, recovering from what I said, he chuckled

"You are one of a kind" he said

"Thank you sir" I said smiling

We watched the movie for a while, and I felt him falling a sleep as his hands stopped caressing my back.
