Manik's pov
I walked back getting chowmein and some momos for nandini and I
"I got chowmein but, woah whats going on" I asked seeing harshad and disha there
"Oh just saying hi" harshad said
"Fuck off" nandini yelled
I noticed her eyes watering a little, I quickly put the plate in my hand down and pulled her in a hug
"Shh, shh it's okay, just relax" I cooed kissing her head
"I just wanna go home" she whispered
"Okay we can go home, please don't cry" I said and she sniffled a little
"I don't want you two near her at all" I said looking at the two and I grabbed the plate with me
I got the food packed for take out along with a couple other things and we headed home. The whole way home she didn't say anything, she was just holding my hand looking outside.
Once we got home we walked upstairs to our house , yes we had left the penthouse this morning. I unlocked the door and left her hand, she walked inside straight to the bedroom. I put the food in the kitchen and walked to the bedroom
She was curled up in a ball in the middle of the couch in the room. I sat down next to her and pulled her in my alp.
"Talk to me love" I cooed kissing her head
"They keep bothering me, I didn't even do anything" she sniffled
"What did they say" I asked
"They were warning me about spreading rumours but I didn't even say anything and what rumours would I even spread. They fucked up my life and still they are blaming me" she said being helpless
"Nandini what aren't you telling me" I asked
"He umm he tried forcing me to have sex with him, he almost raped me that night on his birthday but I escaped. He told everyone I was throwing myself on him" she siad and my eyes were spitting fire
If I got my hands on him right now I would have killed him, he is done. This deal, this fucking business he has is done.
"Shh I have got you love, it's going to be okay"
"I didn't do any of those things, I swear I didn't even touch him. i never ever did anything other than hold his hand but I never even held his hand, he always initiated physical contact. I liked him but it was just liking nothing else"
"You don't have to justify yourself Nandini, I trust you and you won't need to worry about him or disha from tom" I said
"They won't leave me alone, i know" she said
"Yes they will"
"Why do you trust me so much manik" she asked
Her eyes were bright red and I could see the insecurities in her eyes. She was vulnerable, she wasn't questioning my care and love for her, she was confused because people prior to me didn't trust her
I took a deep breath and my hands cupped her face, I was caressing her cheeks softy with my thumb.
"I trust you because I know you, I know who you are and I know the way you are. Nandini your eyes water when you see someone crying, you smile like a child when someone smiles. You have starved before because you gave your food to a little girl on the street. You always jump out of the car when you see little kids on the road playing. You are so pure and innocent Nandini, then how can I not trust you. Your eyes speak the truth, there is not a single drop of lie In them. I trust you more than a 100% with my life" I said and tears were. running down her cheeks
"My own parents don't believe me" she whispered
"I don't care who believes you or not, I will aways believe you love, do you understand that?" I asked and she nodded
With shaky hands she grabbed onto my face resting her forehead against mine.
"Ap kahi ni laogai na" she asked
"Never, not until this heart beats" I said putting her hand over my heart
"Will you be honest with me?" She asked
"I am always honest with you sweetheart"
"Do you think it was my fault, I mean we were dating right so should I have just"
"Don't even finish that sentence. Nandini when a person says no it means no. It doesn't matter what you are dong and with whom, no means no. You could be someone's wife, girlfriend, hookup, call girl, sneaky link, anything and when you say no it means no. If you said no, he should have stopped instead of forcing himself on you. He is a motherfucker who doesn't know how to respect anyone especially women so do not ever even for a second doubt yourself. Do you hear me? You are fucking perfect and it is his fault not yours"
She put her face in my neck as I wrapped my arms around her
"Nandini you don't have to hide these feelings from me, talk to me about everything and I promise I will try to help"
"Thank you" she mumbled
"Always darling" I said kissing her head
"Oh no" she said all of a sudden
"What's wrong" I asked
"Food, I was hungry" she said making me laugh
"You are such a unique piece" I said laughing
"Manik it is way to early like on a scale form 1 to fucking early its on the fucking early side but I L you" she siad and my breath hitched
I couldn't breath for a second, she just told me she loves me, she fucking loves me. Nandini loves me oh my goshhhhhh
"You, umm did you just"
"I did" she said inturpting me
"Umm I L you too nandini, I really do and you re right, we need time to work through our relationship" she nodded smiling
"Food now please" she said rubbing her tummy after she pulled back from me
"Yes my hungry munchkin lets get you food" I said picking her up as I got up
"Hehe manik" she giggled as I walked to the kitchen
"Yes"
"You are so tall" she said looking down at the floor
"I know darling" I said placing her on the counter
I unwrapped the food and since it was still hot I served it. I stood in-between her legs and kissed her cheeks
"I love your chubby cheeks" I said kissing her cheek again
"I love your lips" she said having chowmein
"You what" I asked teasing and she bit her lip
"Stop it na" she said seeing me smirking
"Okay eat up princess" I said sitting down in front of her
"This is yum" she said letting out a small satisfactory sound
i smiled seeing her smiling and happy, we finished our food and we cleaned up.
