"Maa thank you for coming" I ran to her hugging her as soon as I saw her

"Ma ko bhi koi thank you bolta hai" she said nudging my head a little

"Nyonika she is prettier than you said" I heard a voice

I pulled back from ma and saw this handsome man behind her.

"Hi uncle"

"Hello pretty lady" he said making ma smack his arm playfully

"Raj stop it"

"What? Can't I admire beauty" he said

"Ya but she is manik's girlfriend"

"Oh well never mind my child" he said making us both laugh

"Uncle you are flirt with me, you anyways look super handsome" I said linking my arm with his

Ma chuckled as we walked upstairs, I used the key and as soon as I stepped inside, manik ran to me pulling me in a hug

Manik's pov

As soon as nandini stepped out of the room, I took a few deep breaths. She is trying so hard to fix my relationship with my dad and it's not even her fault but I yelled at her.

Once I calmed down, I grabbed my phone and called her but every time I called it went to voicemail scarring me.

I tried messaging her but there was nothing, I was about to call the cops and the hotel reception when the door opened and she walked in

I ran to her pulling her in a hug.

"Are you mad, what the heck is wrong with you huh, I know I messed up, I shouldn't have yelled at you but you can't jsut leave like that. Do you even know how ballistic I was, I was about to call the cops, what is wrong with you huh. What if something happened to you, what would I do?"

"Shh relax, I was just downstairs" she said caressing my back

"I don't care, you can't freaking leave like that nandini" I whispered

"He does love her" I heard a voice making me pull back to see ma and this man

Beofre I could worry about them I looked at nandini to see her smiling at me

"Tum thik ho na" I asked and she nodded

"You idiot child, what did you say to my daughter" ma asked

"Ma stop na" I said as she smacked my arm

"What stop huh, your re behaving like a jerk, why are you so stubborn manik"

'Mumma bas na" I said and the man that was there grabbed her hands

"Stop it nyonika, he is a grown ass man, hitting him infant of his girlfriend will bruise his ego" he teased and I chuckled instead of getting pissed for some reason

"And may I ask who you are" I asked

"I am raj, your mom's boyfriend ahh that sounds like we are so young but ya"

"Boyfriend" I questioned and nandini jumped up in front of me

"Manik see he is handsome na" she said standing infront of me and I grabbed her waist

"He is but go put on a jacket you hav goosebumps all over your arm" I said and she pouted

"Rude" she mummbled and I let go of her waist as she grabbed a hoodie of mine

"Come on in" I said and they sat down on the couches

"Mom what's going on" I asked

"Care to enlighten me on why you are not attending your dad's wedding"
