Summary: Y/n gets reunited with their brother Mk and meets his friends and mentor

Y/n was finally going to meet their older brother after only texting him for months. You see, when Y/n was born their parents couldn't afford to take care of both them and Mk so they had to set Y/n up for adoption, and thirteen years later Y/n's adoptive parents managed to get in contact with Mk. Both chatted with each other for a good 5 months before deciding it was a good idea to meet up, their conversations would be pretty normal. Just a few 'hellos' and 'how are you' and 'what did you do today?' Etc. but when Mk told Y/n about being THE Monkey King's successor, they didn't believe him until they saw a news article online about a guy defeating The Demon Bull King, Y/n freaked out and started spamming Mk with unreadable texts. Mk found it absolutely hilarious and replied with the good ol' 'I told you so >:)'.

And now our beloved Y/n was waiting outside the train station with a suitcase and a messenger bag (they insisted to their parents to go alone). They anxiously tapped their foot as they started to worry. Y/n started over thinking, coming up with thoughts like: 'What if he wont come?' Or 'what if he forgot we were meeting up today?'. Suddenly a voice called out their name.

"HEY!! Y/N!!" Y/n whipped their head around to the voice and saw it was him, his brother, Mk. He looked a lot/ didn't look a lot like Y/n, Mk had dark brown hair that stuck up and had dark eyes while Y/n had (h/l) (h/c) hair and (e/c) eyes. He was with another person, a girl with black hair and green highlights, Y/n jogged towards the two and greeted them. "Heya Mk!! Hey!!..uh..." Y/n trailed off, waiting for the girl to answer with her name.

"The names Mei, I'm guessing you're Mk's lil sib?" Mei asked.

"Yep!! That's me." Y/n answered. They began to walk towards a taxi and entered, the drive was only about twenty minutes. When they all got out (and payed of course) they stood outside a noodle shop with the title 'Pigsy's noodles' it was small but Y/n found it to be cute, like a cat cafe except there wasn't any cats and only noodles. "This is where I work, its hell but it pays rent." Mk told his younger sibling. They quietly giggled as they walked inside along with their brother and Mei, inside were two figures. A man with slicked hair and glasses who was eating noodles and a pig demon whom they assumed to be Pigsy, they both turned their attention to Y/n. The man with glasses decided to speak up and asked "Ah! You must be Mk's sibling, Y/n correct?" Y/n nodded their head.

"Yup! And you guys?" Y/n asked the two. "My names Tang, that over there is Pigsy." The now identified, Tang told Y/n. Mk then told Y/n to follow him and started dragging them to his apartment, leaving Y/n's suitcase. Mei huffed and said to herself "Guess I'll take care of the heavy stuff." Then grabbed to handle of the suitcase and rolled it to the stairs to the apartment.

Mk showed Y/n practically everything he owned, from video games to Monkey King merchandise to photos of other friends he had. He even showed Y/n his staff, Y/n's eyes lit up at it. "GAH THAT'S SOOO COOL MK!!" Y/n complimented. "D'aww thanks n/n!" Both of you then ended up playing random video games until it was midnight.

It's now been about a month and a half since Y/n came over to visit, the past month and a half was the most fun Y/n has ever had. They would do stuff like go to the arcade with Mk and Mei, blast music every night, they even helped Mk deliver noodles which made great bonding time and they also met Sandy, the biggest softie Y/n's probably ever met but it didn't stop them from completely adoring him. But now it was only a few days till Y/n had to leave because they still had to go to school, so as something special Mk asked Y/n if he wanted to go to training with him and meet Monkey King, they of course said yes.
