"C'mon Y/n! It'll be fine!" Mk tried convincing his friend. Y/n hugged himself from how anxious he was feeling, "What if he thinks I'm like...weird! Or- or something?  Gah! I'm just not great with people Mk!" Y/n complained. Mk patted Y/n's shoulder in an effort to comfort him, "Relaaax Y/n, I'm sure he's gonna treat you the same as he does with our other friends!" Mk reassured Y/n. Y/n took a deep breath and nodded, "Okay okay, I think I'm good now."

"Great then let's get going!" Mk exclaimed as he dragged Y/n outside and pulled out his staff from behind his ear. Y/n wrapped his arms around Mk and soon they both launched into the sky, Y/n could feel the wind blow through his hair as they flew. Soon after, the two friends landed on an island with a large mountain, "Welcome to Flower Fruit Mountain!" Mk exclaimed excitedly. Mk basically dragged poor Y/n around for god knows how long until they reached a tall waterfall, Mk placed his hand in front and it have off a golden glow and split open. Y/n watched in amazement, 'Okay damn that was pretty cool.'

Mk continued to lead Y/n through a cave until they reached a small hut. Mk called out for his mentor in hopes he would appear, "HELLOOO? MONKEY KING? THERE'S SOMEONE I WANT YOU TO MEET!!" He shouted. Y/n fiddled with his sleeves as he looked around awkwardly, "You sure he's here Mk?" Mk turned his head toward Y/n, "Yea I'm Sure! He's always waiting for me here before training!" Just then Y/n felt a presence behind him, he turned around and found Monkey King just a few inches from his face, "GAH!" Y/n flinched away as he fell onto the ground. Monkey King wore a smug look on his face and turned towards his student, "So kiddo, Who's the cute one?" Mk faced his mentor and scrambled to him, "There you are! I've been looking for you!" Monkey King chuckled and apologised, "Sorry, I just wanted to play with ya a little. I was actually here the whole time." He admitted as he rubbed the back of his neck. Before Mk could retort, Monkey King cut him off, "Anyways you didn't answer my question." He crouched down to where Y/n was propped on the ground and made eye contact, "Who's your friend?" Y/n felt immensely uncomfortable under the strong tension that was made between the two of them, that was until Mk decided to break it, "Oh Yea! Y/n, Monkey king my mentor! Monkey King, Y/n one of my best friends!" Mk introduced the both of them. Monkey king smirked and held his hand out to Y/n, "Nice to meet you Y/n, you got a cute name for a cute person~" he flirted.

Y/n could only stare at him both flustered and uncomfortable, "Um- Y-yea..! Nice to meet you too, Monkey king." Y/n stuttered out and slipped his hand into Monkey King's. Monkey King pulled himself and Y/n up and pulled Y/n a bit too close for Y/n's comfort, "No need for the formality, just call me Wukong. The kid only calls me 'Monkey King' 'cause I'm his mentor and stuff." Wukong explained. Y/n hummed as he was too uncomfortable to answer, Wukong let go of his hand and Y/n pulled away and backed away to Mk.

"Well kiddo, let's begin training yeah? Y/n can sit and watch."  Wukong suggested. "Yea let's!" Mk exclaimed.
