"You've done what?!" Louis exclaimed angrily, standing up from the sofa abruptly.

"Louis, please don't yell at me with that tone." King Edwin said sternly, his finger pointing at him.

"I can yell with whichever tone I please, grandfather, thank you very much." He replied firmly, crossing his arms.

"And I will not get married. I'm too young." He denied.

"Yes, you will, Louis. Nineteen is not too young. I've already talked with Katherine, and she has agreed to marry you."

Louis sighed deeply in frustration, closing his eyes for a second before opening them again.

"Grandfather, I love and cherish you very dearly, but I quite frankly, and honestly, do not want to do this." He kept refusing, knowing that no matter how many times he will refuse, his grandfather will continue to demand.

"You will, and that's final. Now, if you please, you're excused." The elderly king finished, and reached to grab his cup of tea, bringing it to his lips and beginning to sip it lightly.

Louis sighed again in defeat, and trudged toward the door, his head down.

"If only my life was easy." He mumbled under his breath, leaving the room.
