embrace

A knock at the door sprung Blue out

of his thoughts. Right, Fell was back.

He had been out with Papyrus to

Muffet’s to do some bonding. Papyrus

from Fell’s world (edge) was not the

nicest to Fell and he still wasn’t

comfortable with this Papyrus yet, so

Blue thought it would be good for

them to hang out in a comfortable

space. Papyrus wouldn’t be back for a

while yet as usual but Fell seemed to

not be able to leave Blue’s side.

“Come in” Blue called from where he

was sitting on the couch. Fell opened

the door slowly, walked over to

where Blue was sitting and plopped

down beside him. “Man.” Fell sighed.

Blue looked at him curiously “Did it

go well?” “Well there wasn’t any

yelling.” Fell replied with a tired

smile. He seemed mentally and

physically exhausted. Which made

sense, as the monsters were actively

getting ready to move onto the

surface and the two of them had

spent the past few days packing. Blue

kissed him on the forehead and

wrapped his arm around him. “I’m

proud of you.” He whispered. He

waited for any response but realized

Fell had already fallen asleep leaning

against Blue. Blue watched him

peacefully for a second before he,

too, closed his eyes. 

It was late by the time Blue woke up,

and Fell had wrapped himself around

Blue in his sleep. Blue sighed happily,

enjoying his partner’s embrace. A

few moments later Fell woke up,

looking very embarrassed about

having fallen asleep. Blue smiled at

him, making Fell even more

embarrassed. “I didn’t mean to-” “It’s

fine,” Blue interrupted Fell’s

apologizing. “Really. I like it.” Fell

looked away and leaned his head

against Blue. “Thank you so much..”

he said quietly “for what?” Blue

asked, confused. “For loving me.” he

responded, pressing his face into

Blue’s chest, wanting to get as close to

Blue as he possibly could. Blue

giggled at the feeling of Fell’s breath.

“What are you doing?” Fell lifted his

head slowly and gazed into Blue's

eyes. “Your soul is beating faster.” he

said matter of factly. Blue’s face

flushed and he stared at Fell. “And..?”

Fell put a hand against Blue’s cheek,

caressing it for a moment. “I love

you” he said quietly before pulling

Blue into a kiss. “I love you too.” Blue

breathed once they had separated.

But Fell had fallen asleep.
