Where's a good excuse or a great escape plan when I need them?

"Uyy." Zack said to us as he make his way towards our table. Nakatalikod ako sakanya but I can feel him coming closer.

"Hey." I said once I felt na nasa likod ko siya. I did not bother looking up to him. He put his hand at rest sa back ng chair ko. Damn. I must not blush. I must not blush.

Tinignan ko si Nate and he's smirking. He's smirking in front of me at nakikita 'yon ni Zack. Jerk talaga 'to.

"Finally dumating ka din." Tumayo na siya and continued, "Alright, I'm headin' off. Thank you, Zack and sorry talaga Ava." He ended and grabbed his things from the table.

"Bye man." Tinapik niya sa shoulders si Zack.

"Bye, Avery." He said to me at ginulo niya yung buhok ko. I slapped his hand away and rolled my eyes. "Bye, whipped." He just chuckled and left.

As Zack make his way to Nate's previous seat, he smirked and asked, "Pissed?"

"Sobra." I answered him at tumawa lang siya. He's really good looking. "So, what happened? Bakit di kayo natuloy?" Tanong niya, sounding curious. I can sense na it's his way to lessen the awkwardness and I'm glad for it.

I told him Shaira's issue and added that Nate's having a crush on her. He laughed at it and said, "Kaya pala you're calling him whipped."

I chuckled at what he said and told him, "Hey, sorry istorbo pa ko sayo. I know you have plans today, pero okay lang ako mag-isa."

He brushed it off and said, "No. Okay lang. Uuwi lang ako so good thing Nate texted kase if not, matutulog lang ako pag-uwi."

We both turned silent for a moment. I'm feeling a bit awkward pero Zack seems nonchalant about it.

"What's your plan today? Mukhang napa-aga yung 'Let's have a nice talk soon' natin ha." He commented on our current situation. I stared at him, no one should be this looking. He's fit. Attractive enough for me. Good thing he's not very muscular because I hate it. I wonder if he's around our age too. Older or younger? He's also maputi. Brown eyes, matangos yung ilong, plump lips and bad boy - good boy hair. Damn. A good mistake right here.

I felt that I stared at him for too long so I blinked my eyes at nag-isip ng isasagot. "I don't know. I was supposed to spend the day with Nate and Shaira pero alam mo na."

"We can go sa park if you want to and just hang out for a bit." He suggested. How can I say no?

"Sure." I smiled at him. He smiled widely back at me and said, "Great. It's just a short drive."

We went our way towards his car, he opened his car door for me and made his way to his side of the car.

It's so silent and medyo awkward inside the car so Zack asked me if it's okay to play some music. I said yes and suddenly, My Chemical Romance started playing. I love this band.

Zack seemed relieved that I liked the song. After a short while the park came into view. Medyo naeexcite ako kase hindi naman ako madalas pumunta ng park. Once lang ata kami pumunta ng family ko sa park when I was a kid, puro malls ang pinupuntahan namin. So it's a good thing na makakapunta ulit ako sa isang actual park than nadadaanan ko lang siya ng paningin ko while I'm on the road. Zack found a good parking space. Ooh smooth. This boy can drive.

"Hey. Is it okay kung dalhin ko yung gitara?" He asked me bago kami bumaba. "Sure." I smiled at him and opened the door.

"Saan mo gusto pumunta?" Tanong niya while walking beside me. His guitar placed behind his back. "Lakad lang then let's find for a place to sit."
