A/N

Make sure you have watched the final episode of the Rings of Power before reading the following comments.
It's too epic and I don't want to spoil anything 😊

So, I start with this. I really loved seeing how he was happy in this episode, like really what a happy kid when he meets Celebrimbor and works with him 😍 I mean, I'd have him making cute jewels as much as he wants and I'd be his model, wearing them for him 😂

Then, his relationship with Galadriel. Now it's clear that she needed to be a widow or Celeborn would be around and protect her from such a friend.
I enjoyed how he tried to manipulate her, first with the vision of her brother. And then when it didn't work, he offered her to become his queen 😬
So, what would have happened if she said yes now?
You bind me to the light.
Was it really possible?
Of course, she felt too disgusted by the betrayal to ponder the offer 😅
But now I keep wondering if some choices are taken more carefully, could the story have been different?
And poor Galadriel, she now needs her husband back from wherever he's hiding. She needs something good in her life or how can she bear a guilt like that? 🥺
I'd be too devastated if I were her.
And how he turned everything against her, like repeating to her "it's all your fault", when he had warned her and told her the truth but she saw him as she wanted to see him 😏

And a thing I really loved: all the times she tries to stab him 😂
Something must be really wrong with me, but I just love this kind of approach. She trying to stab him and he blocking her with little effort 🔥 I mean it's hotter than any kiss 😂
And when they shouted at each other 💥

I keep rewatching his scenes because I enjoy so much Charlie's performance. I know him since the Medici series, where he had a smaller role, while now he got the chance to show all his potentials and I can't wait too see him in the next seasons and in other future big projects 💓

About this story, as I already said, I was ready to any possibility and now that his identity is confirmed, I'm not too shocked and I already have some plots in mind to continue this book.
I already dropped hints about it in the past chapters, so I don't need to rewrite anything 🥳

If you remember the scene where he and Lou are very close and he suddenly grabs her jaw, well I saw it happen in the final scene between him and Galadriel and I was like screaming with joy 😂
It's like I've guessed how he would act when trying to be charming, but there's that shadow behind the gesture, his need of control, of reading clearly into his victim's mind to find the weak points. This is how I imagined that brief moment between him and Lou 👀

So, the next chapters will be the dark "Part Two".
It's like leaping into a dark void because I don't know where it will end and how it will go. I expect it to be harsher, no more soft as I felt it until now.

And I'm not worried at all if he is evil. Not just evil, but that evil 😎

If you've noticed or if you know me enough, almost all my books are dedicated to the gorgeous villains of my favourite fandoms, and I like to dig into the characters and find some light in them or give them a chance. So I'll try to do the same with this one 😁

Just, I swear, I've been fan of the Lord of the Rings since I was a child, I grew up watching the movies and reading Tolkien's books, and I never ever thought of changing my views of that enemy 😂
But thanks to Halbrand, thanks to Charlie's addictive performance and his being so cute, I ended up supporting another Dark Lord 🙈

Anyway, he was created "good and uncorrupted", as the story about his origins say:

"His original name was Mairon. He was the mightiest Maia of the Vala Aulë the Smith, and learned much from Aulë in the ways of smithing and handiwork, becoming a great craftsman, and "mighty in the lore of" Aulë's people. He was among the most powerful Maiar.

During this time, Mairon was as Eru had created him: good and uncorrupted. His greatest virtue was his love of order and perfection, and dislike of anything wasteful. However, this would also prove to be the cause of his downfall"

So, yeah, the real biggest enemy is always power 💔

I'll take some time to read again few chapters of the Silmarillion, since I don't remember well what would happen from this point.
There are other rings to be forged and then the One Ring.
And first of all, the most scared being in the whole Middle Earth must be Adar: the real Lord of Mordor is coming for him 😂🔥

I hope to hear your opinion on all of this and if you have some ideas on how to carry on this story, just let me know, it may be a big helping hand to get me out of the darkness where my mind is floating right now 🖤
