"how'd you convince them to do that?" i asked pj as we walked to his car.
"don't worry bout it." pj said and chuckled.
"get inna car nigga." pj said as he got in the car.
i smiled and got in the car.
pj started the car and pulled out.
"we goin to stop and see the kids first." pj said.
"okay." i said and smiled.
"i can't wait to see my baby." i said and looked out the window.
"have you talked to redd?" pj asked and drive down the street.
"no and i don't plan to." i said and shook my head.
"talk to him." pj said and gave me my phone.
i grabbed my phone and opened it.
i went to my contacts and blocked redd.
i blocked him on all my social media.
"aye dez.." pj mumbled.
"wassup?" i asked.
"you know corde out here.." he mumbled.
"what?! ain't he dead? do redd know?" i asked.
"no he ain't dead and no redd don't know." pj said.
my heart dropped.
"aye calm down tho, he ain't planning on hurting you." pj reassured me.
i took a deep breath and nodded.
"so what is he planning on doing?" i asked.
"exactly what he did to draco, whoever that is." pj said and pulled up to kaia's apartment.
i looked at her apartment building and took a deep breath.
"does she know i'm out?" i asked.
"nah." pj said and got out the car.
i got out the car and followed pj to kaia's apartment.
the twins turned three 2 months ago, im excited to see them.
we walked up to her apartment and pj took out his key.
he unlocked the door and we walked in.
"kai kai!" aiyden yelled and ran to the back.
i looked at zamora who was on the couch watching a tablet.
"moraa!" i dragged and she looked at me.
"mommy." zamora said and hopped off the couch.
"she remembers me? i didn't expect that.." i mumbled.
"kaia shows them pictures of you every night before bed.. so they remember who you are." pj said.
i smiled.
"what's this?" i asked and picked mora up.
"my chain." zamora said and showed me her chain that had the letter z on it.
"aiyden have one." zamora said.
"he does?" i asked.
kaia walked into the living room and looked at me.
i looked at her and cracked a small smile.
"wassup." she said and walked to the kitchen.
"bae, stop actin like that." pj gritted and walked into the kitchen.
"kaia, can we talk?" i asked and put zamora down.
kaia looked at me.
"please.." i mumbled.
"cmon." she said and walked to her room.
"i don't know where to start.." i said as we walked into her room.
"well, you gotta start somewhere." kaia said and looked at me.
"first, i wanna say thank you." i said.
"not only did you take the kids in, you made sure they remembered me and i've been a horrible parent, but you still made sure they knew who i was." i said as i started to tear up.
"don't do that, i don't care how much i hate you, im not gonna make it seem like you don't love those kids, because you love them with all your heart and everyone knows that." kaia said.
"i really do." i said and wiped my tears.
"i also want to apologize.. i'll apologize a thousand times kaia, i miss being your friend.." i said.
"i really do, i really miss our bond and i hate how things ended." i said.
"dez.. you hurted me and i hated you for that, i hated you for so long.. but, you were a great friend and even if you don't know, you helped me get over a lot of shit." kaia said.
i smiled.
"your really showing." kaia said and looked at my belly.
"yup, she comes next month." i said and rubbed my belly.
"what's her name?" kaia asked and touched my belly.
