i walked to dez' hospital room and walked in.

"heyy." she said and smiled.

"hey dezzy, where's my baby?" i asked.

"right here in the car seat, we ready to go." dez said and stood up.

"i bet." i said and walked over to amaré' car seat.

"aww you so pretty mamaa, i can't wait to hold you." i said and smiled.

dez grabbed amaré' diaper bag and all of her stuff.

i grabbed the car seat and walked out of the room.

dez followed behind me and we got on the elevator.

"i applied for that apartment downtown and the lady said i can move in on friday." dez said and smiled.

"ouuu, okayy when you wanna go look at it?" i asked.

"um, we can go Wednesday if that's fine." dez said.

"okay that's fine." i said as we got off the elevator.

"have you talked to redd since he left the hospital room?" i asked.

"nah and to be honest that was the last straw." dez said as we walked out the hospital.

"i feel you, that shit gets draining." i said as we walked to my car.

i put amaré car seat in and strapped it.

i closed the door as dez put the bags in the backseat.

i got into the drivers seat and started the car.

dez closed the back door and got in.

"so, you got any errands you needa run before we get home?" i asked and started the car.

"um, can you take me to this address?" dez asked and showed me her phone.

"yea.. who's address is that?" i asked.

"i needa talk to someone and they live there." dez said and put her gps on.

"okay.." i said and stared driving.

zamora tried to give me a fry and i chuckled while shaking my head.

i laughed and aiyden punched me.

"but forreal pj, you needa come wit us." redd said.

"where y'all tryna go again?" i asked.

"las vegas nigga." he said.

"yo baby just left the hospital and you tryna go to vegas?" i asked.

i went to kaia's contact and started texting her.

i finished washing her hands and i put her back in the living room.

"they on the way back mora." i said and sat down.

she nodded and sat next to aiyden who was still eating.

i watched tv until kaia and dez got back.
