"Now, this is what's gonna happen. I'm gonna back away to the top of the stairs there. Then I'll watch as you wake her up from whatever the hell this is," Jason explains.

"I can't," Lucas says before turning around slowly, Jason's gun still trained on him, "Jason, if I wake her too soon, we all die."

"No. You don't wake her up right now, you die, Sinclair," he threatens. He cocks the gun.

"Jason," Max chimes in, still tied to the chair, "He's telling the truth."

"No, no, no," he goes over to Max, lowering his gun, "He's brainwashed you. Whatever you think, it's not real."

"Ahhh!" Lucas runs at the boy, tackling him to the floor.

Meanwhile, Lindsay remains in her room, the night of the Snowball. Although everything has turned to mush. In a panic, she started to board up her doors and windows. She pushed the dresser against the door and was putting her chair and bed against the windows. But when she turned around, the dresser was gone and her door was now the door from the Creel House. She watches as it creeks open slowly.

"You can't hide from me, Lindsay."

Her room isn't huge and she has nowhere to hide, she closes her eyes. She begins to think of Eleven, trying to change the location, jumping to a new memory.

"You think I don't see what you're doing? You think I don't see everything?"

Suddenly, her mind flashes to reality. Vecna showing her what's actually happening. Jason holding the gun towards Lucas and Max not being able to help.

"You thought you could trick me?"

She sees Nancy, Robin, and Steve struggling, being restrained by the hive mind. She hears Dustin and Eddie screaming.

"You thought your friends could stop me? I see them. I see your friends."

She watches Demogorgons chasing Chief Hopper who she thought was dead. She can hear Robin and Nancy crying out for help.

"Just as clearly as I..."

"Stop!" she hears Dustin yell.

"...see you."

"Lucas!" Max yells.

"I can feel them. I can feel them dying."

She opens her eyes as the clock chimes.

"It's time, Lindsay."

Unable to change memories, she turns in circles searching for a hiding place. Tears start to fall down her face, knowing there was nowhere left to run. She can't even remember escape to reality either, Max having the Walkman. When she turns around again, she comes face to face with Vecna.

"It's time."

He puts his hand up, throwing her back against the wall.

"Ahhh!" her arms and legs flail as she forcefully held against the wall, "Gahh!"

She tries to move but she can't, Vecna's hold too strong for her.

"Ah! Ah! Max!" she cries. He approaches her slowly as she tries to catch her breath.

In the real world, Jason and Lucas fight, with Jason holding Lucas by his shirt. He throws punches at the younger boy over and over again.
