~Addy's POV~

"Woah what" Rory walks into the room to see Alex and I laughing about something.

"We made up" I smile and Alex nods his head aggressively.

"Of course you did. You guys are like fucked up soulmates or something" she sighs, tossing me the advil and an ice pack.

"What's that for" Alex peers over my shoulder.

"My broken leg idiot" I chuckle, swallowing the pill.

"So.... you guys are like good now?" Rory asks, pointing at us.

"Yup. All good" Alex smiles.

"Ugh I have to give Sofia ten bucks now." she groans.

"What?" I smile.

"We made a bet. I thought you guys would make up in a month but she thought a week so now I have to pay her"

"People are betting on us now" Alex nudges my arm.

"Gotta go pay her. You kids stay safe" she runs out of the room.

"When do these come out" he takes my hand and traces over my stitches.

"I need to schedule an appointment"

"Oh ok"

"You're wearing your ring" I fidget with his ring.

"You're wearing yours" he smiles.

"Guess we really are fucked up soulmates huh" I sigh.

"What are you doing today" he asks.

"I have therapy in an hour if you wanna come with" I check my phone.

"Sure. I said I would come to one of your appointments" he shrugs.

"I'm gonna get ready" I limp out of bed.

I grab an outfit and go into the bathroom to change. I fix my hair and throw on some makeup.

I walk out of the bathroom and see Alex hunched over his phone, music coming from it.

"What are you watching" I peer over his shoulder.

"dancing fruit" he mumbles.

"Time to go" I pat his back.

He groans and pulls himself out of bed.

We walk to the office building, hand in hand, catching up with each other.

"I promise, if it gets too much, you can leave whenever" I squeeze his hand.

"You're reassured me that a lot on this walk"

"Just wanted to make sure you know"

I go into the building and knock on Lisa's door. She opens it and smiles at me before looking at Alex.

"Lisa, this is Alex" I smile at her.
