Ariana's pov.

I sigh Taking a sip of my champagne as I sit on the couch of my new York pent house. Toulouse sits right next to me as we wait for my friends to arrive for a hangout day, I needed a break from all the shit thats been going on recently.

It's been 4 months since me and Pete called it quits. It's also been 4 months since I've had time to really focus on myself. I've been nonstop running all over the place, doing endorsements, doing interviews and talk shows, and I've been doing Hella promotion and press work...it's been like this since I announced the realease of my album sweetener.

At first I was handling it well, I had a schedule that I was sticking to, but then when I actually dropped the album two weeks ago, it all just became too much, so after begging scooter to give me a small break...he agreed. And that's how I got to where I am now, relaxing, about to have a much needed and overdue hangout with my friends.

My peaceful silence is broken by the sound of my security alarm beeping, letting me know that my front door was opened, also letting me know that my friends are here.

"Stop the party, darrion has arrived!" Darrion yells out making me giggle As I got up off the couch greeting my friends with excited squeals and hugs.

All of my friends are here, and when I say all of them I mean ALL of them.

My friends follow me back into the living room, and I take a seat on my couch.

Doug, darrion, Victoria, alexa, tayla, courtney, fredo, tommy, Njomza, Brian, Scott, Nicki, and frankie, all find a spot to sit that's comfortable for them, and then we start conversation.

"Oh my God bitch, it's been too long since we all hung out, what's new" Victoria asks

"Yea, what's the tea?" Njomza adds

"Nothing really, you know the basics, press, interviews, therapy etc." I say

"Speaking of, I love the album girl. Especially our song tho" Nicki said talking about our collab, the light Is coming.
