I yawn, stretching my legs and arms all while still sitting in my office chair, cracking my knuckles and rubbing my eyes underneath my glasses, I take a deep breath and look around the room, taking in the Mysteriousness that is my grandfathers old study.

I spend most of my time in here, not only because it's the only room that's not completely modernized and tech like, but because it's a comforting and safe space for me.

Humming the tune of 'slow dancing in the dark' I get back to doing my research, typing away on my keyboard, I get so deep into looking for a layout of 2024, that I don't even notice my brother opening the door to the

"Still looking for that map of 2024 eh?" He spoke with a chuckle, which startled me, making me jump to slam my computer shut

"Fucking hell aiden" i groaned out clutching my chest, and I turned my chair towards the older boy who was moving over to one one the shelves that contained many, many maps

"You need something?" I asked him, as I watched him scan the spines of the books and binders on the third shelf

"No, I'm just putting this map back, I was looking at it earlier but I couldn't find what I was looking for" he spoke

"What map is it?" I asked out of curiosity

"2025" he responded plainly, and that reminded me of the task I was perusing prior to him coming in here

"Hey uh- can I see that one actually, I think i have an idea" I told him, making him furrow his eyebrows

"What are you up to?" He asks in a curious and accusing tone, as he gets over to the desk, I move my laptop and turn on the lamp that's next to me, pulling the map of 2023 from a drawer, I lay it out smoothing on the surface

Motioning for aiden to give me the map he has, he does,

"Could you hold that lamp over the top of the map please" I ask, adjusting my glasses on my face. As I laid the map of 2025 over the map of 2023 I realized my assumptions were correct

"Look, you see how these lines match up?" I say pointing to a few specific spots where the lines match up perfectly "these maps have little to no difference, they are almost completely similar, even tho they have a 1 year gap in between them, so if these two are basically the same..." I trail off, shifting the maps around once more, so that all the lines match up except for a few spots

"I think that the map of 2024 would Also be basically the same" I finished, and he was obviously picking up what I was putting down

"Oh shit-" he paused in realization "so what you're saying is-" he started again but I cut him off
