Change Is A Good Thing

Confusion

Her heart throbbed as she was watching the time
She took glances at the door and the clock
Where was he she thought of, as the divorce trial concluded
Her eyes were now wary
Where was heinley?
"Y-your majesty?" Rashta spoke
She didn't respond, yet Rashta spoke once more
"My deepest sincere apologies..but hopefully you'll find someone else, and live your life to the fullest, without holding a grudge with me" Rashta whispered
She clutched her fist
Navier couldn't be too mad at her though..she was a naive girl who was also a slave..she wasn't that smart..but dhe was extremely mad with sovieshu. He had common decency and was the emperor..still he did this.
"I'm not mad at you the way I'm mad with someone else."
She wasn't too sure if it was heinley she was mad with or sovieshu..but she stuck with sovieshu
After she made that comment, sovieshu announced Rashta becoming the new empress, and having a heir.
Unlike Navier, he had a plan..and a family..
Where was heinley?
Navier couldn't help thinking that over and over, she kept her emotions in check though.
"Navier..are you alright?" Sovieshu said
"Leave me be" she spoke
"Navier, I know your mad..I know your mad about your status being taken away..rashta--"
"my status being taken away in the matter of months! And don't even try to put the blame on Rashta! She doesn't even know better!"
Navier soon left to her room
She had lost her title, her partner, her friends, and now..a possible chance of a new life with someone new..someone better.
She sat down on her bed and screamed in her pillow. Her eyes swelled and started to tear up..soon enough, tears were streaming down her face
The heist priest would be leaving..where was the chance to get remarried
She soon heard commotion outside
She left her bed to go to her window
Heinley! He was being dragged and taken away
Navier quickly began running towards the scene

"Let him go!" Her eyes were still puffy red but what could she do..she didn't want to know her lover was executed and she could've done something to help the matter
"Y-your majesty"
"Let him go!"
"Navier..I ordered them to take him away"
"And you're going to take away king heinley?"
"Well.."
It was a heated argument
In the end, Navier got her way and she soon left to have a discussion with heinley
"I'm guessing they stopped you" she asked, holding his hand
He nodded, he didn't look sad though
"Did something else happen? You don't look too upset"
"While outside, I met the heist priest"
"Yes.."
This made Navier excited, she held his hand tighter
"And gave us his blessing"
Navier's face lit up as she hugged heinley
He chuckled

The next day Navier had to go..the empress' room was no longer her's..but soon enough, she'll have another room.. and a partner she can talk to openly

"Navier" sovieshu spoke stopping her from leaving
"What's wrong?" She asked, confused
"You can't leave!"
"Aren't you so happy to be with your new wife?"
"You can't leave me! You can't get a new partner!"
"Is that not what you're about to do? If anything, you're moving on faster than me."
"Navier.."
"There's no debating. Let me go."

"Navier are you okay?" Heinley asked
"Perfectly fine..let's go before it's too late"
He nodded and they left in a carriage

"Woah"
"It's pretty right?" He asked her
"Very.."
"Would you like a tour?"
She chuckled at the thought of nostalgia
"Sure Heinley"
