As the sun started to rise over the horizon, it shined in the window to Fili's room. Fili was still sleeping, till he started to wake up. Rubbing his eyes, he notices Krystal sleeping on top of him. Jumping from the sight, he remembers what happened last night and calms right down. He wraps his arms around her till he heard her say, "Well good morning to you too." He gets spooked a little and gives her a kiss on the forehead as he says good morning back. She giggles and scoots up closer to Fili and lays her head down at his neck. Fili starts to blush as he shuts his eyes trying to get some more sleep till Krystal spoke, "Your fur is so soft. It's like a big fluffy cloud." Fili chuckles a little and responds, "Not as soft as yours." As he strokes his hand up her back to her face feeling her soft fur between his fingers. She blushes from embarrassment and cups her face and starts to giggle. As Fili chuckled, Krystal asked him if he still hurts. Fili told her not too bad but that he will be feeling it in the coming days as he laughs it off.
They both get silent till Fili speaks, "You know... I still wonder why I even exist." Krystal was about to stop him, but he continues, "I mean... What I have been through and not knowing if my life will get even better. It scares me to think how life will go for me, especially with me and you being together now. I'm... terrified to even think if something bad happens to you. What happened the other day with that drunk wolf trying to get to you, I couldn't hold them both off. I want to keep you safe, but I don't know if I can. I feel happy with you, I feel safe with you, but the world that is around us. I will be hated no matter what I do, and now you're being pulled into it because of me. I want to be with you but... I'm scared of losing you. I love you, Krystal." After what Krystal heard, she raised up, softly grabbing Fili's ears, and started rubbing them. Fili froze from what she is doing, she speaks, "Fili, don't you even dare to talk like that again. You have every purpose to exist, and what has happened to you in the past, it has led you down this path to where you have made many friends who care and even love you. I love you Fili, and what comes our way with what others have to say, won't bother me, because I will be with you, and that is all that matters to me. Fili, I love you and I only want to be with you." She then lays her head back down at his neck. Fili lays there with his eyes wide open breathing hard from what she has said. He then slowly wraps his arms around her and says, "Krystal, please never leave me." Krystal replies, "I won't... I will never leave you." As tears start to flow down Fili's face, he starts to cuddle close to her as she asks him why he is crying. Fili tells her that it is nothing that he is just very happy. From there, Fili has finally experienced what it feels like to be loved deeply by someone he loves back.
