But what if your elders are disrespectful
What if your family doesn't treat you right
We're is the line drawn
Do I have to sacrifice my worth for theirs
"Respect your elders"
What a load of crap
How about
"Respect those who respect you"
No one is saying to be outright disrespectful
No one is saying disown your family
But know where you stand
And know your worth
You are worthy of being respected
You are worthy of a proper family
At the end of the day respect yourself
Which means not putting up with peoples shit
