A few months had passed since the shiba mother has passed away, the family grieved and didn't visit the baby who had to be kept in the hospital for the first few years of her life. But she was still happy and started everyday with a smile.

The nurses and doctors were everyday greeted by the most energetic baby they've seen so far. She would always greet them, babbling something between hello and good morning, wiggling her arms around to be picked up and brought out of the white hospital room.

She saw many children everyday and started to try and copy their movements from crawling to standing on her own two feet.

That was the problem and aftermath of being born too early, hitomi learned way to fast for her small body to keep up and her vocal cords became damaged from speaking or babbling to much. But little hitomi didn't care,she was way to curious about what came out of her mouth to stop talking and she loved to stand so high that she could see the world around her better.

Just like now, it was currently 8 am and she greeted one of her favourite nurses with a happy giggle and wiggly arms. "Gow wello!" She said or babbled rather said as the nurse only smiled.

The staff became used to it and just let the little adventurer speak the whole time ,only monitoring hitomi's vocal cords when running check ups.

"Good morning little hitomi!" Said the nurse as she picked hitomi up and out of her crib. After that she changed hitomi's clothes and then started brushing her blonde hair which was still tousled since she just woke up.

Once they were done the two went out of the hospital room to go to the cafeteria where hitomi would eat breakfast before getting her daily check up for any disease she might have inherited from her dead mother.

On the way they passed other patients rooms and hitomi greeted every single one of them with her "gow wello", well until she saw a girl eating cookies in the playroom. Hitomi reached one hand out and called out to the girl.

"Pwease woowie?"

The nurse halted in her step and also looked at the girl who didn't seem to have heard hitomi's request for cookies. "No,no hitomi-chan you firstly need to eat breakfast and get checked up before you can eat cookies!" Scolded the nurse as hitomi laid her chubby head on the nurses shoulder.

She began to cry rather loudly as she asked again. "Pwease woowie? Pwease?"

And all the nurse did was cruelly walk away, to the cafeteria to set hitomi down and begin feeding her...

...and she did.

Hitomi still bailed but calmed down eventually, she couldn't win with her puppy eyes against this nurse, she knew hitomi too well for that. And that hitomi realised quite quickly. Because after eating the nurse coldly picked her up and together they walked towards the check up rooms for babies.

The room hitomi hated the most.

But when she looked at the nurse ,like always, her face remained stone cold.

Though, on the inside the nurse fought not to fall for hitomi's trick because she knew damn well that most nurses did and if she did too then no one would respect her anymore like now.

When the doctor came in the nurse left with a heavy heart as hitomi was then getting checked up...

... only to secretly come back and have a bunch of cookies for after hitomi was done in her pocked.
