Siri.
I can't cry.
You are dead and I just can't bring myself to shed a single tear on you my dear.
I think it's the fact I already mourned on your death the day you went to Azkaban.
Oh I remember going through all five stages of grief with you, I remember accepting you are gone after two years of living hell.
I think that for me you died back then with James and Lily, you returned as ghost in my mind.
Sirius was still alive but Padfoot was long gone.
So this letter is for you Sirius, not for Padfoot.
For the Sirius who kept Harry safe, for the Sirius who stayed true to himself, for the Sirius who tried to do what I couldn't do, for the Sirius who tried to save us.
We died fifteen years ago, when you came back there was no longer Padfoot and Moony just Sirius and Remus.
And yet you tried to recreate us, to build something.
I am sorry I couldn't be what you wanted me to be.
I am sorry our love only exist in a place I rather forget.
Always yours, scared to admit though,
Remus John Lupin.

Rest in peace Sirius Orion Black.
Rest in peace Padfoot.
